The only thing worse than the food was the service.

Service took less than 10 mins. Restaurant is clean. Pricey because it's airport food. However, the burger was dry as h*ll and the fries were Meh and soft.

Check your receipt!! Order a draft beer and a canned Truly, was handed my receipt without the itemized receipt. It was $26....when I flagged down the bartender and asked for a copy of the itemized receipt she instantly apologized and fixed it. Very unsettling, you always get an itemized ticket at restaurants.

I received great service and order the Marzen BBQ Burger with garlic fries. Came out super delicious so much so that I'm going to try and do a copy cat recipe of the BBQ sauce when I get back from my trip. Drinks also didn't disapoint. Check this place out if you have time to kill at RDU.

Airport dining is a challenge. Most don't come for a specific restaurant - instead its what's available and how much time do you have before your flight. But that's no excuse for poor performance. Now I've been at several Gordon Biersch locations across the US and they are generally reliable and good. But the RDU location was one of the worst airport dining experiences I've had - ever. The waitress really couldn't care about her customers. Our order (a pretty simple order of two ice teas, 1 sandwich and 1 salad) took almost 30 minutes to receive - and it was wrong twice over. The waitress didn't care and didn't come back to check on us (or even refill the tea). When we asked for the check, it took another 15 minutes. You think someone at an airport restaurant might be in a hurry?? As for the food, it was bland at best. I understand that these locations are usually not the "real" restaurant they say they are - they are a concession operated by a national catering corporation like HMS Host. But that is still not a reason to serve bland food with poor service. AVOID the RDU outlet of Gordon Biersch. If I could rate it ZERO stars I would.

Do not waste your valuable time on this subpar venue. The wait staff is horribly rude and condescending. They treat customers as cattle. Fill a seat, shove food in the face and get you out. Beyond that, the property is filthy and has zero ambiance. Save yourself the disappointment and head down the way to 42nd Street Oyster Bar instead. You'll be glad you did.

I know it's in the airport so they have a pretty captive audience but go elsewhere. I've been sitting here for over an hour... I ordered the garlic fries which taste like nothing but grease and a marzen (which is lovely). Because the fries are super gross, I ordered the cheese curds, which are pretty good in spite of the burnt bacon on top. I have seen my server walk by more than a dozen times and only just checked on me. When she finally came over, I informed her that the fries weren't very good, but ordered another beer nonetheless. A few minutes later she comes and throws the tab on my table (she took the fries off the check but didn't end up bringing me the beer I had ordered) so I guess I will just go to one of the other dozens of places that I can get a beer. I have never felt more unwelcome in a restaurant than I have here today.I really wish I had looked at the reviews first, I probably would have made a better choice but historically I have always like Gordon Biersch although I have only ever been to the real restaurant, but I didn't think it would be so much different. What a shame. 10 bucks for a beer 10bucks for some greasy fried cheese. Most definitely not worth it..go anywhere else...there are plenty of choices.

Sometimes its sold out. That's not a reason to hit this place with a 1 star rating. There's a reason why it sells out. It's great place.

First, out of the first 4 things I ordered, everything was sold out. This includes food and alcohol, with no substitutions. Second, the food took so long and the server was so slow and inattentive, our flight was boarding and we had to box up. Our drinks were already empty. Third, we ordered a medium-rare burger that was well done by the time we had a bite. The "garlic fries" are nothing but Ore-Ida from the home freezer with some jarred garlic on them. Gross.

I stood out by the entrance and all the workers stood gathered around chit chatting. I had to walk in and ask do I seat myself? Then when I ordered I heard cook say we are out of mushrooms is that ok. No answer and waitress served my Swiss and mushroom burger with out telling me. She brought me a dirty glass for my drink and never came back. This waitress gets no tip from me for her lack of service. When I asked her did they say they were out of mushrooms she said. Yes we just found out. I said well you could of told me. Whatever lady you need better customer service skills.

The food... is... terrible. Lots of tasty sounding descriptions on the menu, not a single one was true. I got the smothered chicken. For $18, you'd think it would be a good size... nope! The "world famous garlic fries" must be world famous for not tasting like garlic and being served ice cold. Nope nope nope. Save your time and $.

I have eaten at a Gordon Birsch before so I had good expectations of the food and service. Not the case at this location. The service is terrible. A customer wanted a sandwich to go because he was catching a flight. Was told...everything on the menu takes 30 minutes. It's an airport for God sake, you would think their menu would be accommodating. Really, a sandwich? I ordered Bourbon Salmon with a quinoa/kale salad, cost $19.99. I got salmon with rice and lettuce? Very frustrated and disappointed.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! From the best waitress (Sam) to the most amazing crab artichoke dip and CBLT sandwich! And OMG! The Bloody Mary was the best I've had! Definitely a must go to place if your in the myrtle beach area!

Very disappointing - went through four menu items and none were available. As it was 5:30pm on a Thursday seems that there's a logistics management issue that could use improvement. On top of the food shortages, four of the five house draft beers were also out. The draft seasonal is okay but not for $11. Expected better.
