My complaint is not about the food. My complaint is that I was charged one dollar for a hot pepper relish. I could buy an entire jar for a dollar not just a little cup size thing and it’s frustrating as a consumer and it’s annoying because this is clearly taking advantage of the customer. Next time I’ll just bring my own.
Ordered the traditional gyro. Pita was soft. Lettuce tomatoes and taziki sauce were good. Meat looked like it was in preformed shapes, not sliced fresh off the rotating hunk of meat that other gyro places have. The meat slices had grill marks on them and tasted like they had artificial smoke added. I was burping it up for hours afterwards.
I'd placed a review a week ago about my chicken gyro that missed the mark for me. The owner immediately responded to my post and offered the opportunity to reach them directly. I did, and the owner was very nice and explained some menu changes, suggesting the chicken kabob gyro. I went today, and they made my not so pleasant experience right giving me a complimentary gyro. Talk about great customer service! Everyone inside the store was pleasant, friendly, and full of smiles....
