Bad service from employees beginning with the rude lady with bandana who took my order, she was rude, did not take my order like I asked and the worst food wasn’t as pleasant as it looks on the menu. Was recommended to this place but won’t be coming back with my employees here.

I ordered a Guasaca shredded beef arepa. When the arepa was getting close to the cashier. I noticed there was no Guasaca sauce. So I asked if it came with that since that’s what I ordered and then I was met with a very rude and unpleasant tone. I was then mocked and was told that I would have the bag snatched out of my hands as I walked out the door. Just super weird, rude and unprofessional.

Parking: The parking is a little odd, not difficult, just odd. It is a narrow lot on the side of a building with an awkward entrance and exit, but the food is worth the maneuvering.

Update: Guasaca reached out and I have since tried them again and it was very good, at lake Boone trail. I will have to give another try to the new location soon. I love the Guasaca at lake boone trail, i go there often. We ordered from this location via doordash tonight, two bowls and an arepa. They must have been busy because it took an hour, literally 1 hour, to finish our food. Order confirmation email at 4:34, order arrived at 6:03. Its no more than 20 minutes drive away. I can live with that though. My wife ate some of her bowl and immediately asked me to try hers. I noticed a strange smell from the white rice. It had an almost chemical smell, or sour. I’m not sure if something was wrong with it, and it was still cooked, or what. It almost tasted like the rice was washed in soap. Or the container used for cooking had soap still in it. Either way ill probably stick to lake boone trail location. Im scared to eat this rice.

Sadly I can’t give this place zero star. First the service was terrible I don’t know if it was the fact we take a few minutes to decide because was my first time in this store or what but they weren’t friendly when I asked the woman who started making my order and the most terrible thing happens when I get home and I found inside the paper bag a small ROACH!!!! Don’t go to this place!!!! I am never going to comeback to this place!!!!!

Don’t go to this location unless you want to be given the wrong order. When we ordered takeout no one else was in line. We ordered 10 arepas. They were behind on their ingredients but we didn’t mind waiting.
2 groups ordered after us.
They mixed their orders with ours; they traded out the salmon, beef and chicken for a bunch of Guasaca.
They don’t know how to drain the beans at this location. Every one of ours with was a soupy mess after a 15 minutes of driving. It’s the second time in a row we encountered this issue. I thought it was new hire but they seem consistent at doing this step poorly.
Stick with Lake Boone.

My family has been eating at Guasaca for years. This is the first time I've been to the Spring Forest location and it's great like the original (Lake Boone). The food was bang, pow wonderful like always and the clientele was diverse. Everyone will feel welcome at this location and have a great meal at the same time!
