I’m so glad I came across this spot, and I plan to come here often while I’m in town. For this first visit I ordered a vegan arepa and a grilled chicken tender arepa. Both were delicious and filling. My expectations were definitely exceeded!

I’ve frequented Guasaca for more than 5 years. I usually go to the Lake Bone location, sometimes the morrisville location..this was my first time at the Spring Forest location. And let me tell you, the customer service was worse than horrible…the employees were more interested in getting you out the way, rather than ensuring you have a decent experience. I make a modification all the time due to an allergy that both the other locations honor with ease. But this location, No…even asking the question of “can you make the salmon without chimichurri” caused the employee to immediately respond harshly and throw her title around stating “she was the general manager and that we don’t do that here”. I very calmly responded and said well I’ve been coming to Guasaca for years and the other two locations make the accommodation without question. Instead of even listening I was immediately brushed off and told again “well this is how it’s made, we don’t do that here”. I would just like to say that if you work in a service industry…at the very minimum you should be able to deal with customers. I don’t think this women should be interfacing with people and I will NEVER return to this location and may never eat Guasaca again. Speak to someone the way you wish to spoken to, it’s truthfully that simple. My experience certainly isn’t coming through holistically through text but her tone was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive. I would’ve been okay with her telling me she didn’t want to make the accommodation without the added extra rudeness, but that one simple question sent her into a tizzy. So again, I’d recommend to all my Guasaca lovers to choose the other two locations over this one. The employees here, don’t care to make you’re food with basic care, have a hard time answering basic questions and certainly don’t make any accommodations for allergies or for any reason. 0/10 don’t recommend.

I have never been to this location always go to the one on lake Boone trail. I went in today wanted to try the strawberry salad with salmon. There was a small amount of salmon left don't know how long it had been sitting. When I saw that I asked for fresh salmon and would have waited for it. The Hispanic guy that was taking orders could be the manager not sure tells me they had just made the salmon not too long ago and proceeds to give me what was left as he scrapes the bottom of the metal container. Instantly left a bad taste in my mouth. Why couldn't I wait for fresh salmon to be made I don't know but the Asian lady that was in front of me got fresh steak that they prepared while I was there waiting in line. Terrible customer service but the salad is tasty. My visit was today 2/10/24. Also the restaurant needs some cleaning and the women's bathroom door doesn't lock.

Very Disappointed..2nd time her and still not great food and service is terrible. Absolutely LOVE the Lake Boone location and eat there often.This location on Spring Forest is not the same, employees are very rude and impatient and actually "huff" when you say they have put in something wrong.Definitely will never return to this location. Food was not good even the outside bun was terrible and just fell apart. Disappointing.
