Gussie’s is the Bee’s Knees (pun intended). The service is impeccable. The cocktails are flawless. The vibrations are immaculate.

Excellent atmosphere and food. The chef knows how to hit the sweet spot of curated quality in a casual setting. The menu evolves with the season and keeps you intrigued even if you’re a regular. Happy Hour, Dinner, or late evening - you can’t miss.

I really like the interior of this place, it’s so cute! Also enjoy the outdoor seating. They have great cocktails. But their food is terrible. I asked for fries and animal sauce to dip them in and the sauce came on top, resulting in soggy fries underneath. The burger is wet. Sweet potato waffle fries are under cooked and way too salty. Key lime pie tastes like it was made with lemon. And the crust is clearly store bought. Overall I have not enjoyed any meal I have had here. But I do like their cocktails especially the mojito

Gussie’s is seriously one of the coolest spots in Raleigh! The vibe here is super chill and eclectic, with some of the best wallpaper I’ve ever seen. The drinks are solid, and there's plenty of variety, but honestly, it’s the staff that makes this place awesome. They remember your name, treat you like a friend, and make you feel welcome every time you walk in.

The place is always clean and just has a great overall feel. Whether you're popping in for a quick drink or planning to stay a while, you’re going to have a good time here. Definitely worth checking out!

Went for brunch with friends. Owner was awesome snd made us feel super welcome. The decor is super cool and the baristas definitely made my wife’s latte with tons of love.

Smashburger and pimento cheese grits were amazing. Definitely will be back.

A review I don’t want to write but know that I have to… it’s just so fabulous here that I want to still be able to visit.

Good food and drinks with a super cozy atmosphere. Also, as close to an In-n-Out burger as you’ll find in these parts.

We just keep driving 40+ minutes to hang out here…

Love the vibe of this place, and that cheeseburger is worth the trip by itself. Really friendly staff, as well.

Update: raising my review to 4/5. The owner's response was good to see. It's not often places are willing to take all feedback and respond thoughtfully and respectfully. I suppose next time I'll send the dish back, although I hate doing that in the moment with a busy restaurant and it's what I ordered at the end of the day.

Great service and atmosphere. Staff is so welcoming and on point. However the food recently was disappointing. The oyster po boy was absolutely doused in the hot sauce so much so I could barely taste the oysters. It was just a soggy mess. The $23 crab cake entree was more of an appetizer. A couple small crab cakes on a bed of lettuce.
Previous visit the burger was great. I’ll stick to that and hope the other menu items get improved.
