Gym Tacos 2 restaurant

These were the best tacos I have had since moving out of Manhattan. I got the asada and birria tacos. Both were so damn good. I will be back for sure.

We ordered tacos and it was not that impressive. It probably was the time we went between 3-4 pm. Meat was chewy and the place was a little trashy .
They need the employees reinforcement cleaning tables and floor at least after rush hours.

Very disappointed. While our tacos had generous amounts of protein, a total of over $38 for two shrimp tacos, one burrito asada, and two soft drinks is simply too much, and unacceptable. The tables were sticky, and we didn't see any workers pay attention to the dining area. Plus, no chips at all were included for this crazy high price.

I think the original food truck and this location serve the most consistent quality.
The asada burritos, al pastor tacos, and suadero tacos are simply staples for me.

Also, who on earth was pouring the salsa into a cup 😂?

Loved my burrito. Tacos are on corn tortillas only which is okay. I typically prefer flour but Mexican street tacos originally are on corn. All the meats are perfectly seasoned and chopped.

The food here is some of the best in the area, I recommend a taco or enchilada if your hungry. They also have bands playing on the regular.

An excellent Raleigh staple off Hillsborough St! The food was exceptional and the service was top tier. Their gym tacos are not to be messed with! It’s definitely pricey, so don’t think you’ll escape under $20 if you want a full meal.

I have loved Gym Tacos for many years but was really disappointed last night. I ordered a burrito with no meat, which I have ordered countless times, and on this occasion it had some kind of white-meat-looking stuff in it which it doesn't usually come with. I am a lifelong vegetarian so could not taste it to figure out what it was, as it would make me ill if it was meat. We called to inquire and the staff weren't sure whether it was meat or potentially mushrooms. They couldn't confirm whether the restaurant has mushrooms or if that's something that is now included in the veg burrito. An order mixup is one thing, but not being able to provide ingredients lists for dishes makes me concerned about potential allergen safety. Incidentally, another vegetarian friend last week told me about having a similar issue with her Gym Tacos veg burrito-- it included a rogue piece of white-meat-looking-stuff, but a small enough quantity that it looked like an accident. Not sure what is going on but I am disappointed given how many years of great vegetarian burritos I've had there. We're grateful for the refund but not sure we will be back soon.

We love this place. We recently had them do a catering order for a large group. Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious. Our guests loved it all. The service was excellent also. We highly recommend!

One of my go to spots. Prices, food, service and salsa are all good quality at the price point. I appreciate how they take orders even till the end of closing.

Food was mid and expensive but service was on point and the place is pretty nice as far as atmosphere goes. All in all, I like the truck better. But no biggie.
