The food was excellent, service was great, and the atmosphere was nice. It was very clean as well! There was no wait for a booth and the food was only about 10 minutes once we ordered.
I had a bacon and cheese omelette with home fries and toast ($14) and got a side of a single biscuit and gravy ($6) and sweet tea ($3.25).
My wife had the Big Bopper breakfast with two eggs, hash browns, sausage links, and two biscuits with sausage gravy ($17) and it was all excellent food and in fact was more than she could eat. She had a Diet Pepsi ($3.25).
The food was excellent and the portions were large. Our waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full.
They had a good selection of cakes and pies and I got a slice of their old fashioned 9-layer yellow cake with chocolate frosting ($6, and again it was a LARGE piece) and a glass of milk ($4). The cake was almost as good as my grandma’s homemade cake. The waitress said they don’t make them there which was surprising for as good as they were.

Love this restaurant. Old time diner with friendly staff and good food on large portions. Very crowded on weekends though and don’t take reservations. You can call ahead to be on waitlist

The entire point of going to the Shiny Diner is the atmosphere. The have a Jukebox with broken satellite controllers that eat your quarters. I went up to the main unit to play Hey Jude by the Beatles and it started playing. The staff immediately turned the volume down to the point where no one could hear it. Food was below mediocre. Service was slow.

Good diner food, leaning more towards breakfast-type dishes, and good music on the jukebox. Only issue is the wait times can be a bit long if the place is crowded. Either go when it's quiet or use the time to catch up with friends.

Make sure to wear layers since it's cold inside but worth it for the food I ate. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles.

Fun throwback diner. Service is slow but the food is excellent. Be prepared to wait.
Everything was fantastic. First visit and definitely making this a regular place after the movies nearby

This an old time feel diner. We had to wait a bit, as we had a party of 7. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I had a simple blt w/ onion rings

Family of 5 Went on a busy Sunday morning. No greeting, everyone just looked at me waiting. I texted the number to be seated and was called back in 10 minutes, not bad for as busy as they were. Food was very subpar. Bland, barely warm even though the food was out within 30 minutes of sitting. Just needed some love (and seasoning)! I will return with just my husband because we got breakfast foods (pancakes 3/5, French toast 3/5, eggs 2/5, French toast sticks 2/5, sausage patties 2/5, hashbrows 1/5 they had a terrible after taste of sink water) I want to try their lunch menu as the food truly didn’t look bad at all & like I said, super busy so maybe on a slower day I can rewrite a better review. Server was super sweet as well!

Shiny Diner is a beautiful, classic-style diner with a large menu and plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere is fun and nostalgic, and the staff is very nice and friendly. The food took a bit of time to arrive, but the burgers were tasty and the fries were great. The quesadillas, however, were a bit disappointing. Overall, a good spot for classic diner food

My open faced meatloaf sandwich was good, my mom's salad looked good, but the Reuben my dad had had only a few slices of meat on it. His was very very disappointing after the wait for our food to arrive
I've seen this place in passing and wondered if the food was good. Well today and buddy wanted to grab lunch and we agreed to give this place a try. Great choice!
