Incredible food and warm, welcoming vibes! The dishes are full of authentic flavor and made with love. This place truly feels like home, a must-visit for anyone craving African and international cuisine done right!

Ordered the fish filet, egusi soup with chicken, and slow cooked lamb. The food tasted weird, except for the fish which was decent, but in general the food was not good, especially the egusi soup which was straight up nasty, and extremely expensive. First and last time eating here.

New experience but ordered something’s I’m accustomed to having, jerk chicken mac and rice and beans. The jerk was entirely to hot and when shared with the owner he responded “is jerk no suppose to be hot” in a condescending tone. I then replied of course but to the point it makes the roof of my mouth sensitive when my tongue relaxed against it. The rice and beans were dry and the Mac had only pepper and cheese. I was fine with the food not being as expected but the disappointment of the food AND the lack of interest in feedback really turned an already upset tummy.

This place charged too much for the food I got fufu, soup, and a water bottle for $45. The lady messed up my order and 8 had to pay for it. I will not go back or recommend anyone else to go 🤷🏾‍♀️

The atmosphere was welcoming, the music set a good vibe, and the hospitality and service were both solid. However, I did have some concerns about the food. No napkins. Plantain fufu was over priced one box of planting food food should only be $10 and shouldn't make at least 6 to 7 servings.. I originally was served a serving that was frozen in the middle the planting food flow was made with a lot of powder and fufu doesn't require a lot of powder and it's a certain way. To make it
The plantain fufu appeared to have been frozen for a while—it had a pre-made texture that didn’t quite hold up. Similarly, the corn fufu had a skin on it, suggesting it was made in advance and left sitting out. The egusi soup was very smooth and blended, not in the traditional style, and had a noticeable nutty flavor—possibly from peanut oil no tomato test at all, as if there was a peanut butter red stew added.
The plantains seemed to have been fried in oil previously used for fish, which affected their taste. The grilled tilapia filet we ordered was very tough, and the fries were overly hard and dark brown from over-frying.

While the menu features dishes inspired by various African cuisines, there’s a clear Senegalese twist throughout—not necessarily traditional to each dish's origin. It’s not quite international cuisine, but rather a unique fusion attempt. I respect the effort to branch out and try other cultural dishes, even if it didn’t fully land for me.

It’s always interesting to see culinary experimentation across cultures, and I commend that spirit, even if the execution wasn't fully to my taste.

Please remove Egusi from your menu, because what you are serving can definitely not be Egusi💔 Tastes so bad!

Actually went here on the first part of a date. Good food. Great portion sizes on everything. The Egusi soup, rice and fufu stood out the most. Service was great! Definitely looking forward to coming here again when I’m in the area. Thank you!

I drove an hour away to get this food. I was craving their chicken patties. I bought 3 & got almost home only to be caught by surprise! The chicken patties were well overdone. They were hard as a rock! Instead of the regular chicken patty it was like a overcooked empanada. The filling in the inside was dry. I called back & ask if they can replace the order & make another order for the inconvenience since I was already 35mins away & had to turn around. They told me no, they could only replace the order. They were so nasty on the phone. I decided not to go back at all.

Usually 5 stars, but whoever made the beef shawarma wraps tonight (11/22) really let us down. Stale wraps, no sauce, no flavor. Awful, unfortunately we got 3 of these hoping for their usually great shwarma wraps. Rice was good, plantains were good, jerk chicken was great, but I had complaints that the curry chicken was far too salty. Overall, we spent over $100 but were only happy with about half our food.

This is my most favorite place to eat at. I can't express their quality of customer service. I go there twice a month and order different items, just to try it out. And I'm always happy every time. Keep it up.

This restaurant is very decieving..and misleading on a particular side menu they claim they have, its called fufu,i understand folks that frequent this restaurant have had it before or not tried it before....this is a brief summary of what fufu is
"West African fufu is a mixture of boiled cassava root and plantains that are cooked until soft, then mashed until smooth. It's often rounded into balls and served with hot groundnut soup ladled over top."that is not the case when you order the fufu..what they serve is made from corn and not an actual fufu.I wil be filing a complain with the attorney general as well and also the department of food and safety as well...
