Been trying to move away from places that don't like my skintone and ethnicity. Hady's fit the bill with great food.

I really enjoy this place, the food that I pick is always good and I love their hibiscus juice. HOWEVER, the jerk chicken is TOO spicy. I’m not sure if they’re different spice levels but the jerk chicken was so spicy that my husband couldn’t eat it and I felt bad because it was his first time trying it.
Other than that, I enjoy this place and the food I selected.

Had an amazing meal at Hady’s. I used to live in Senegal for four years but left in 2011 so it had been about 15 years since I’ve had genuine Senegalese food. I was worried it would be hard for the meal to live up to how much I was looking forward to it (I’m visiting NC from the Midwest and I don’t have a West African restaurant nearby).

The meal absolutely delivered. I ordered the chicken yassa and it felt like I was back in Senegal. 10/10 authenticity and 10/10 taste. Talked to Lamine and the other employee after (sorry I didn’t catch your name) and they couldn’t have been nicer. I will 100% scheme a way to make it back to Hady’s next time I’m on the east coast.

Food was delicious, customer service at the front was lackluster, bathroom was decent. Food was prepared and served promptly, waiter who brought the food to table was nice.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others.

I spent about $40 on brown stew chicken and jollof rice with chicken, and both meals were completely unacceptable.. The chicken was cold, rubbery, and clearly not fresh, and the rest of the meal was only lukewarm. Within a short time of eating, I started feeling sick to my stomach.

What made this even worse was how the situation was handled. When I first called to report the issue, I was hung up on. After calling back, I spoke with the owner, who apologized and told me I could come back the next day to have both meals replaced.

However, when I called the following day, he completely changed his story—saying he would only replace one meal—and was dismissive and disrespectful during the conversation.

Between the poor food quality, getting sick, and the unprofessional customer service, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal or basic customer service.

Holy cow!!! First time having African food and oh my gosh. My girlfriend got the lamb peanut butter soup and it was so so so so so so good! I played it safe and got the shawarma but it was SO good as well. They had a great sauce and the wrap and it came stuffed with fries too. We will 100% be coming back here!!! 10/10 experience

Amazing 5🌟

Hady’s Restaurant was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely incredible I had the peanut butter soup with lamb and the cassava leaf with lamb, and both were packed with flavor. The lamb was tender, the seasoning was rich, and everything tasted authentic and homemade.

The atmosphere really stood out too. The artwork, colors, and overall vibe made the whole experience feel unique and welcoming. It’s one of those places where you can tell real care went into both the food and the environment.

Service was great, everything came out fresh, and you can tell they take pride in what they do.

If you’re looking to try something different or just want genuinely good food, this spot is definitely worth it. I’ll 100% be back.

Hady’s is amazing. I ordered the slow cooked lamb and collard greens. Everything was so flavorful and big portions. The service was outstanding, real family vibe!! Definitely will be returning.

If you enjoy spicy food, I highly recommend the oxtail plate. The oxtail was cooked to perfection tender and truly falling off the bone. The collard greens, rice, and beans complemented the dish beautifully and were all rich in flavor. The seasoning throughout the meal was well-balanced and perfectly done. Overall, I highly recommend the oxtail dish.
