My daughter and I went for lunch at 1 pm on a Tuesday. The restaurant was nearly empty, so we got our food very quickly, but that was the only thing good about it. We both ordered hibachi, and this is the first time I have ever had hibachi that was not stir-fried in hibachi sauce. Or any seasoning for that matter. It was very bland and the meat overcooked. We got it to-go, so we were basically SOL for seasoning as there weren't even soy sauce packets in the bag. We took a few bites to hold us over for a few hours until we get home and can whip up some hibachi sauce (hell, even soy sauce would do). Also, the bathroom is disgusting! There was dried poo water splashes all down the wall immediately next to the toilet (probably from getting a good plunging), and I have never seen sooooooo many boogers in my entire life. And I have 5 kids! 😅 They were all over the wall next to and opposite from the toilet as well as on the wall next to the sink and door. 🤢 I'm not talking here or there like an unruly sneeze went off, I'm talking hundreds!!

Ate there three times. I don’t know why I was so persistent in wanting to like this place. When you walk in, it feels dirty. But, then, that’s what this place is - a hole in the wall Asian restaurant like so many others. The food is unremarkable at best. My last time there, I got the Pad Thai with tofu. I think I may have gotten more flavor and better texture from my kitchen sponge. I ate all the noodles and the broccoli, so I didn’t have much room left to complain. I did let them know the tofu was way overcooked and the best they could do was say “sorry.“ No offer to make things right.
Once the pinnacle of affordable and delicious hibachi… I am disappointed with the result of my most recent meal/order from here. Quality has dropped significantly since my college days.
I asked for no veggies, keep the sweet carrots. They gave me shaved sushi carrots cooked on the grill
