Fantastic and unique. Not like any normal blah Raleigh spot. Seasoning was spot on and cocktails and food alike were created and carefully made. The fish was divine!

Went for brunch and was so inspired by the banana bread french toast, I went home and made my own. It was a bit dry for my taste, would've preferred they soaked the bread longer to make it a softer more pleasant chew. Also had the steak and eggs. Steak was too chewey. A thin ribeye works better for steak and eggs. Overall satisfied and would like to try more of the money, but I wasn't blown away by anything. The vibe is great, and I enjoyed the different moods different seating areas offered.

Tried to call multiple times and left on hold for 10+ minutes and eventually was hung up on twice. It is mostly outside seating and it was very chilly and uncomfortable. The hostess was rude. Would not recommend.

Do yourself a favor and make reservations. Brunch wait was as long as an hour and a half without them. Was ok. My fork was bent which is not something I should see at this price point. Service was on the slow side but fine if you want to hang with friends. Took over an hour to order and get food but like I said we were hanging out with friends.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, one of the best dining experiences in a very long time. Our server was stellar, his demeanor and service was top notch and made the experience one we'll never forget. The gumbo, deviled eggs, oysters, peanuts, fish stew...and man, those fritters...every bite delicious. I can't wait to go back and try the poboy...and many other dishes that all looked amazing. If you're on the fence, do it! You won't be disappointed.

Several unique dishes and they all were delicious. We had smoked Oysters and some brunch items. Drink selection was great - we just went with bloody Mary's and mimosas. All was delicious!

Food is delicious, service is great! It is a smaller space, so expect a little bit of a wait to be seated on the weekends, but totally worth it.

The menu at Hummingbird is a symphony of flavors, with each dish carefully composed to delight the senses.Whether you're having Soppressata Pizza from one of the deep dish pizza selections or Winter Curry, the delicate balance of textures will make every bite a treat. But what truly sets Hummingbird apart is its willingness to take risks. Diners can expect to find unexpected ingredients and innovative techniques that challenge the conventional notions of what a meal should be. Beyond the food itself, the atmosphere at Hummingbird is warm and inviting, with a stylish yet approachable ambiance that makes diners feel right at home. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, guiding guests through the menu with enthusiasm and expertise. The culinary experience I had was truly remarkable.

I was truly impressed with the staffs teamwork, work ethic and service on a very busy Sunday brunch after church. The food was delicious and not over priced. Recommendations were thoughtful and exceeded expectations. The hostesses and servers were very accommodating on an extra chilly day even with the rush. We have made a note to make Hummingbird a more frequent destination!

The drinks are creatively crafted, the salmon gravlax is refreshing, and the home fries pair well with the remoulade. The gin cured salmon is fresh, and, paired with the pickled red onion, balances well with the Miche and spread. The remoulade is light and flavorful with the potatoes. It was a bit chilly on the patio and seemed to need a bit of repair. Great for a sit down meal or quick oyster bar.

I'm unsure why this place has so many fabulous reviews about the food. We had a group that dined in for brunch today and the food was just mediocre at best--maybe we were here on a bad day? Our server was super nice, but as the time went on we couldn't find her and went long periods of time without seeing her. I assume it's because you're understaffed. We were brought dirty plates for our shared appetizer, which was quickly corrected and blamed on new "helpers". Not a big deal. But then our food took 45 minutes minimum. The brunch burger, while the meat was prepared well, was absolutely flavorless. It's like the chef was afraid of salt or seasoning. There was barely any pimento cheese and it melted off, and the fried green tomato was so thickly cut that it wasn't close to cooked and was cold. This was the theme. The food looked well done and was presented well, but had no taste. The grits were soupy. Eggs dry and slightly overcooked. Steak chewy. Took forever to get our checks. There are so many better places to check out. We all were so excited to try it and left disappointed. Not returning.
