The food was over cooked, they gave us sauce for the calzones which was just plain tomato juice. The atmosphere is what you might expect at a cheap seafood place that was only open in the summer. We could have gotten better food and atmosphere for the same amount elsewhere.

This was a surprisingly good place! I always am picky about Italian food because I spent a month or so in southern Italy and it high key ruined my ability to enjoy normal American italian food.Anyway! My friend got a feta and some other type of cheese calzone and thought it was great! (It had real feta!) I got chicken parm. The sauce was super nice and it was a good amount of chicken and pasta. The salad was fresh too! It's in a little building, and I only found it because of reviews on Google. Make sure you park in the paved lot to the left~In short, give it a shot! You'll probably be pleasantly surprised!

My wife and I just moved to Raleigh from Las Vegas Nevada. We have eaten at many fancy Italian restaurants in Las Vegas and this is better than all of them and reasonably priced. It is a little place, but the food coming out of that kitchen is worth your time.

Our food was ordered through doordash. It arrived correct and packaged well, however it was VERY salty and the pasta was over cooked. I got eggplant parmesan and the eggplant breading was not crispy at all. The portions were large though and with a lot of water, i was able to get through it.

Like many old Raleigh folks, I was saddened to see sub conscious close it's doors. But you know what, like many old Raleigh folks I was also saddened when both two guys and brothers pizza closed down too. And for those locals left, it's been a long while since we have had a quality Italian restaurant on Hillsborough Street, and now I can say I think we've got something good here, something that truly restores my faith in bringing quality (not quantity back to quality). I spoke with the chef tonight, and I got to say, he's got the power to make it and certainly has a big menu. Quite frankly everything I've had so far has left me incredibly pleased and full. The Pizza, insanely good (reminds me of Andy's). The lasagna, which I had tonight came out quick and was delicious. My wife walked in and asked if the eggplant was fresh and honest to God I loved the response: a very stern yes, with a question of how would you make it any differently. Bottom line, that too came out quick and was delicious, she was blown away. So there you have it. I'm a new fan, and have accepted one change in Raleigh. Great work guys.

First time at this restaurant. Found it on Google. My husband ordered shrimp Alfredo with angel hair pasta. I ordered the chicken parmesean sub which comes with fries. Everything was good. Portion size was more than enough. We both took food home. Staff was very nice. Great customer service and great price for the food. Would recommend you give it a try for great Italian food.
