Food is always well prepared and tasty. Staff is welcoming and always attentive to our needs. Weekly specials email are a great marketing tool that gets us there often.
Food and service were excellent! we had a patio table and it was perfect for a larger group
Quite literally the best restaurant I've eaten at in recent memory, if not ever. The food portions are perfect, everything was amazing. We had the potato and cheddar pierogies, the pork schnitzel, coffee rubbed flank, and homemade chocolate cherry ice cream. Highly recommend. Need to get this place on diner drive in and dives. Authentic polish restaurant
J. Betski's ambience is completely different than the original location. The open glass soda refrigerators at the front door had the feeling of a fast food takeout restaurant. We were nicely dressed for a nice evening, which was in contrast to our server who was wearing a ball cap backwards on his head. The price still reflects their days at 18 Seaboard however that is the only thing. We will likely never return.
Betski's has a lot of potential in its menu, but it isn't living up to it. We had the cabbage roll appetizer and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good texture, matched well with the arugula and chopped onion & peppers. The jagerschnitzel was done nicely, but ruined by the touch of orange and sweetness added to the gravy. Spaetzles were done perfectly. The plain schnitzel may have been a better choice. The flank steak was served over a bed of arugula, tomatoes, and avocado. While reasonably tender, it was very fatty and over-marinated. No beef taste to be found. Worst flank steak I've ever had. The warm potato salad had spud chunks that were done to a nice tenderness, but the taste was blah. Perhaps, the meat marinade was overwhelming the subtle flavor of the potato. Perhaps not. Strudel was good. Overall, good points and bad points. Room for improvement. While the service was good, it was confusing. The tables have a card for phone ordering, implying that is how it should be done. But, there is full service also, but one has to ask. The latter is confusing too as the waiters are dressed in their own schlub clothes, making it difficult to distinguish them from the customers. There is something to be said for a touch of uniformity in wait staff wear.
Food was good, QR code ordering was great, efficient, and fast. My only complaint would be the price considering the food quality and service method.
The food was amazing and the staff created a warm, welcoming environment. I would highly recommend!!
Excellent food and service. Food came very fast. Great beer selection. Would like to see some additional German food choices added to menu, like different sausages. Great pierogi's for appetizers. Prices were very reasonable.
Everything we ordered was delicious! Outside seating was super accommodating for our pup. Staff was super friendly. Great German beer selection and lovely cocktails. I really like QR code ordering so we could order at our pace. Definitely recommend!
This is the first time we have eaten in J Betski's new location. It was exactly as expected. We enjoy he casual atmosphere, but very good food. Nice menu of German themed dishes with interesting specials. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed it. Nice middle of week dining spot.

My mother and I stopped here for lunch, and we were so glad we did! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Our meals were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We especially appreciated how attentive and friendly our server was—they checked in just enough without being intrusive.
It was a really lovely experience and a perfect spot for a relaxing lunch together. We’ll definitely be back!

Lauren with Offline - Came here with a German friend and she was absolutely floored by how many dishes she recognized from home. We tried the oxtail pierogies and the jagerschnitzel and both were delicious! Hands down the best schnitzel I've ever had, and my friend said it was a tasty spin on a traditional dish. The pierogies were also very good and the sauce on them was stellar. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, too, and the food came out SO fast! We would absolutely come back here, with Offline or without!

The most underrated restaurant in Raleigh IMO! The menu is extensive and everything is made in house. Has a wonderful neighborhood friendly atmosphere and was welcoming. Dogs were allowed on the patio. Extensive wine list, great beer selection and just good food!

Really enjoyed the food. The flavors are deep, complex and next level. Not sure how you can make the simple ingredients of a pierogi taste to elevated. Fantastic! Overall, we liked it and the prices were reasonable but found the atmosphere lacking. It was cold and cavernous feeling in the main dining room. Also, though it does help to be able to pace yourself by ordering through the QR code and it eliminates having to wait for the server to check back to get another drink or the check, I still prefer a actual waiter at a higher end place.
