The jerk chicken here is the closest to the jerk chicken I've tasted in Jamaica, than any other Jamaican restaurant in the area. It's smokey and not just chicken baked in a jerk sauce. Also get a side of the jerk bbq sauce, it's less than a dollar. Thank me later.

This place has fallen off . Food and service is terrible I used to love the food. I’m done no more jerk for me. It’s sad that we treat paying customers and loyal customers this way.

My husband brought this home for
dinner and just NO ! Chicken dry as the desert, cabbage and mac unseasoned. This is a disgrace to Jamaican food. So disgusting. Never returning.

My hubby and I were in Raleigh with a taste for Jamaican—- this place did not disappoint! Oxtails— meaty and flavorful Mac & Cheese —. Very very good!! Even the cabbage and rice were well seasoned and delish! Very personable with efficient service! We will be back!

When I entered the store I Spoke with Mr. Donovan. He’s a very pleasant man. I Appreciate his politeness. He did not prepare my meal. I purchased over $30 plate. The food was good. I must say, the portion size was Not Worth The Price. It is really disappointing that every-time I travel to patronize this establishment the portion size seems to get smaller and smaller( I was so surprised at the portion size I asked what size plate it was thinking it was a small, I was told it was a large) and because of this it’s really not worth going back. I wish them much success.

The food here is pretty decent. There isn’t a huge selection of Jamaican food around the triangle area. But this feels like home cooked meals. I got the “2 types of meat sampler platter”. I ended up going with the jerk chicken, which was good. I personally can’t handle my spiciness with food that well, the chicken I will say has a slight kick to it, nothing crazy honestly though. I would say more on the mild side. I will say the flavor of it was really good, a bit dry with some pieces, but the sauce helped that. I also got the oxtail, which was fall off the bone. Really tasty, got a handful of bones without meat, but it honestly didn’t bother me. The sides that came with it were plantains, which were cooked amazingly. It came with cabbage, which I have to say was some of the best cabbage I’ve ever had, it had this buttery taste to it that was impeccable. I honestly wish I had gotten more of it. And then it came with rice, which was also a nice additive. Lastly I got their carrot cake, which had a really nice flavor to it.
