My wife and I recently visited this establishment with high expectations, eager to enjoy a hearty meal. We ordered the oxtail rasta pasta, shrimp rasta pasta, and a large curry plate with extra sauce. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfying.

Upon opening my oxtail rasta pasta, I was immediately disappointed to find only three small pieces of oxtail—a stark contrast to previous experiences at similar restaurants. My wife’s shrimp rasta pasta also failed to meet expectations, leaving her underwhelmed.

The large curry plate was another letdown. Despite specifically requesting extra sauce, the meat was overcooked and dry, making it difficult to enjoy. Considering we spent over $60, the quality simply did not match the price.

On a positive note, the customer service was decent, which slightly softened the overall disappointment. However, the food quality did not reflect the cost, leaving us with a sense of regret over the purchase.

While I appreciate the effort of the staff, this visit fell short of expectations. I hope the restaurant takes feedback seriously and improves portion sizes, food quality, and consistency.

Great place for authentic Jamaican food. Best in the triangle by far. The owner cares about her customers and it shows. I go there every time I'm in Raliegh. Always a great meal. Love this place.

Great, authentic Jamaican food. Jerk, brown stew, oxtail, cabbage, curry, rice and peas, all excellent. We've been going here for more than 10 years and there's no place in the area that matches it.

We were in the mood for Jamaican food. We have not been to the restaurant in about 3 years. They did not disappoint. The food is so flavourful. The chicken, goat, and ox tail was good. We have going to Jamaican restaurants for over 30 years and their flavors are on point. The young attendants are very friendly and approachable. The restaurant is always chill and laid back.

I purchased 2 oxtail dinners. The food is southern cooked, not Jamaican.. absolutely no taste at all. Would have been better off with a taco
