UPDATE:
Olivia made it 100% right. I give her 5 stars for customer service. I can't wait for my next trip so I can eat at Jason's! Wishing we had one locally but we don't.
The salads were awesome, very tasty. The muffuletta is a victim of shrinkflation. Much less meat and olives than the last time I got one. Still good but disappointing. The issue was with delivery. We were missing a drink and an extra dressing cup. Called driver who said call store. Called the store and was told had to check with manager. After some hold time was told missing items were being refunded to card. But of course that didn’t happen. ☹️ Lesson learned- don’t get delivery here.

I go here often, I dine in, I order take out in person & I order take out online.
The food quality is always great. The cashiers are typically what you’d expect, pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu items.
Several times I don’t get all of my items from my order.
Once we didn’t receive 2 desserts that cost $10 each. Bummer. I kept my receipt & planned to come back in to ask about them but it was over 2 weeks ago so I said forget it.
Tonight I preferred my meal in person to go. I asked to sub a fruit cup for chips. I got no fruit cup yet I was charged 2.69 for it. So I went back in & the young lady asked to go through my to go bag to make sure it wasn’t in there. She asked me for the chips back, I said I didn’t get any chips either… then she asked if I wanted chips or fruit… I felt like she thought I was trying to get free food… even though I tipped 10% on a to go order… that I placed at the register, picked up from the register & then had to come back in & be questioned like I was lying.

Good soup & sandwich (hot/cold) menu with an impressive salad bar. Plenty of seating. They also have a self serve ice cream machine 😋 Great for lunch or dinner.

This whole place is disgusting there’s mold every where especially inside the ice machines . They never clean them and it’s mold under the lights where they make your food so you’re probably eating and drinking mold . Some of the co-workers don’t wash there hands after they eat while on the shift and the Manager doesn’t care about anything but his money to the point we’re he doesn’t want to fix anything. the walls have mold but are painted over and the floors as well . Avoid the place if you can

Always good and plenty of high chairs and seating. Go-to is the half sandwich and soul as well as the potatoes.
Really enjoy the salad bar and the sandwiches!
Always enjoy the gumbo here. Never had a sandwich u didn't like either.
I ordered a wild salmon sandwich, fresh fruit cup and added a salad for delivery. The salad was bigger than I had anticipated, beautifully made and just as I had requested! The fruits & vegetables were all very fresh and crisp. The Wild Salmon sandwich was FANTASTIC! The salmon was tender and not overcooked/dried out and had great flavor. Delivery was timely - the salad was cold & the sandwich was hot.
It was readily apparent that my food was actually ~prepared, packaged & then delivered with care~! I don't think I've ever said that before today. In a world that has become overrun with mediocre (at best) choices, this Jason's Deli really exceeded my expectations and definitely earned a 5+ stars

Staff were nice and the food was good!
First visit in about a year, we used to come regularly. Not so great anymore, food is now just OK and wasn't very warm. Customer service was terrible, nothing but leers and grunts from the employees making us feel like we were putting them out. At least everything was clean.
Update 1/14/25
I am adding 2 stars to my original service review of a 1 based on the positive efforts of the owner. He has reached out to me a couple of times. I will visit again next month for another try.
Update 5/11/25
Visited yesterday and were very happy with the food and service. The restaurant was very clean as usual. Thank you to the management for the improvements!
I eat here every time I come to Durham. Their salads are wonderful and their sandwiches are tasty. Great place to take your kids for a quick and healthy bite of food.

This was my first and last time ordering from Jason’s. I ordered online the Italian cruise manager special with tomato basil soup and Italian pasta salad. My order costed $14.24 without the tip included. I didn’t know what to expect but it Definitely wasn’t what I got. I Recieved a 4 inch Italian sub that was caked in mustard and had more lettuce than meat. The pasta salad was extremely small for it to cost $2.49 by itself and the tomato soup was a normal size. Upon walking in I saw the health rating was a 95.5 which I didn’t love to see in this very nice shopping center but that wasn’t the kicker…. I stood there in front of the cashier for 7 minutes with no greet at all. She didn’t even make eye contact with me. I decided to finally take it upon myself to look at the names on the finished orders behind her and would you believe my order was sitting in a bag waiting for me before I even walked in! I had to tell her that my order was behind her for her to even acknowledge me and she didn’t say anything, Just gave me the bag and went back to whatever she was doing on the register. The receipt says Olivia was my cashier. If you’re looking for appropriately priced food and decent customer service I DONT recommend you come to Jason’s Deli in Brier Creek.
The lady delivering food to the tables was rude to everyone!
