Noelle our server did a wonderful job! The service was courteous, welcoming, prompt and attentive! Just what we had hoped! The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations!

First time dining here. Honestly, I was not impressed by the food. Every restaurant has an off day here and there, but for the price of a sandwich, we expected perfection. Wasn't terrible, but just "meh"... Great downtown location though.

Great casual spot in our hotel. Drinks are well crafted, pizza was excellent and very reasonably priced. Service friendly and efficient.

Pizza was absolutely delicious! The wings were HUGE and were loaded down with a very gooey amount of melted parmesan cheese. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is very close (1 or two blocks) to the symphony, ballet and theatre as well as a couple more blocks to the Red Hat Amphitheater. Jimmy V's is a good place to g before or after the show!

Margarita pizza was merely a cheese pizza and very salty. I've eaten at this restaurant twice, was seated in the same waiter section, same rude and rushing waiter. I will never eat here again.

Food quality was average, service was average, and prices were fair. Overall, it was fine, just not outstanding in any way.

Awesome Time at Jimmy V's – Noelle Made Our Night!

Just had dinner at Jimmy V's Oysteria and Bar, and wow, what a great experience! Honestly, a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Noelle.

From the moment we sat down, she was just fantastic. So friendly and on top of everything, without being pushy at all. She really knew her stuff when it came to the menu and gave us some awesome recommendations that we absolutely loved. You know when someone just makes you feel genuinely taken care of? That was Noelle. She was always there right when we needed her, and everything came out perfectly.

Beyond just the great service, Noelle has this really warm, easygoing vibe that made our whole evening so much more enjoyable. It's clear she really enjoys what she does and genuinely wants you to have a good time. The food was delicious as always, but Noelle truly made the difference and elevated the whole experience.

If you're heading to Jimmy V's, definitely try to get a table with Noelle. She's a rockstar and absolutely made our visit memorable. Can't wait to go back!

We ate at Jimmy V's last night and the food was terrible. The pizza was just ok but everything else was horrible. The chicken in the chicken alfredo was reheated frozen cubes and the sauce was not as good as store bought jarred sauce. The kids mac-n-cheese was flavorless. The arancini was also flavorless and dry, definitely reheated and not made fresh or even fried fresh. The caprese panini was not even warmed up, let alone grilled or pressed. It was a huge disappointment and not worth even 1/4 of what we paid. Years ago this restaurant was great but unfortunately we won't go there again.

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! The atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious. A special thank you to Noelle, our server — she was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She made us feel truly welcome and took care of every detail with a warm smile. Her service made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Bartender was awesome. Super busy but made time to chat and was just very thoughtful. Great drinks, too

We were in an extreme heatwave in the city and we escaped into Jimmy V’s for dinner and the food and service was on point. Trevor, our waiter was so professional, friendly, and cognizant (such a refreshing trait in today’s culinary atmosphere)to our needs.i felt so informed yet not pushed to make my decision which allowed me to truly make the best choice. I ended up pairing a lovely salad with figs- i would never have tried but after collaborating with Trevor who saw my angst I did get them on the side and then added them to my palate. Absolutely delicious. A lovely wine with soup completed my experience however, it was the continuous, attentive caring that Trevor exuded. He moved with with ease amongst many tables and your establishment is a great attribute to the downtown vibe. Thank you. Carol Ann

Overall, I wasn't very impressed. The food was good, but not anything I haven't had elsewhere. We got our apps quickly, but then our salads took a while to get. It almost felt like we were forgotten about. The service wasn't bad, but at times could have been better.

First let me just start off by saying it was my first time ever coming to Raleigh for a concert show and I’m staying at the Sheraton Hotel and I was trying to decide what I was going to eat. Me and my buddies stumbled upon Jimmy V’s. Not only were the employees welcoming but the food was very tasty. Our server Trevor was so helpful when it came to the menu. He recommended the Fried Calamari for our appetizers and the NY Strip I had was really good. My buddy Eric loved the wings. Now back to our server, I’ve been to my fair share of restaurants and experienced the good and bad with servers but Trevor was so nice and welcoming. Next visit to Raleigh I will be coming back. Thanks again for a great experience.
