I love this place! It is a wonderful dive bar with great bartenders that know their stuff and know how to run a busy Friday/Saturday night. I feel safe as a single woman at this place. I've heard the slide is hella fast, but cannot confirm.

I'm so glad I found this place! Great people, incredible prices. It's not fancy at all, which suits me fine. I've been a couple of times but I was motivated to write a review after watching the bar staff handle a very busy night last Saturday (2/15/25). The downstairs bar was wall to wall and the 3 staff behind the bar were efficient and accomplished. It's been a while since I've seen something run that well. Also, I can tell this place is inclusive and I've never seen a single person have a bad time.

I recently moved to the area and went to this bar with my friends. We loved the place, the music, and the overall vibe. At first, we were served by a Latino bartender who was excellent honestly, 10/10. However, later in the night, I had a really unpleasant experience with another bartender (tank top, tattoos, and a beard).
First, he didn’t understand my order and was rude, but I let it go. Then, when I closed my tab, they gave me the wrong card. When I pointed it out, they handed me another card that also wasn’t mine. Let me be clear, I worked as a server for seven years, so don’t tell me how a customer should be treated. It is your responsibility to pay attention and keep track of open tabs so you don’t mess things up. Finally, they told me my card had been declined, but once again, they tried to give me the wrong one. Throughout the whole process, both the bartender and the other staff member were completely distracted and I felt really frustrated.
Even though I stayed calm and was simply trying to clarify the situation, the bartender responded me: “Girl, you are making this really hard.” That was unnecessary and disrespectful. I called my husband to help resolve the issue, yet the bartender continued to be rude with him.
I left feeling uncomfortable, upset, and completely unwelcome I cried bc I’m very sensitive and I try to treat people well. As a woman and an immigrant, I already face enough challenges without having to deal with this kind of treatment during a night out. I don’t want to assume this was about discrimination, but that’s exactly how it felt. Unfortunately, because of this, I won’t be coming back, and the bar has lost five customers for good.

Avoid this business. Staff is confrontational and rude. Our party was asked to leave after one staff member argued with one member of our party. The person in our party asked to leave did leave and went out and was waiting for everyone else to be rounded up. The staff member who was so argumentative came downstairs yelling at staff member at entrance and pointing to our friend “do not let him back in” (our friend who was already outside on sidewalk and NOT trying to re enter was only waiting for all our party) Staff member from upstairs then started yelling at our other friend who was only trying to get everyone from our large group gathered so we could leave. We had 14 people all over the bar-upstairs, inside, outside. Most did not know event had occurred so needed to be informed so we could leave. We were literally leaving and they started yelling at us again. Good grief!!! Just let us leave already and trust me we WON’T be back!!

Super chill vibe, great bartenders, and kind of a cool dive feel.
Great dive bar, but the jukebox only has lesbian friendly music. I have no problem with that, but I (white cis male) didn't know that TouchTunes could be set with such limited music. If you want to listen to 4 Non Blondes and chick bands and maybe play some pool, it's a good time. Amazing plus side: they have an outdoor slide to get from the upper deck to the lower patio!

I know they say the slide is “hella fast” but I didn’t know that it was a time travel worm hole that shoots you out the bottom so fast you forget where you are. I cannot stress this enough, no, you can’t hold on to your drink on the slide and both make it out alive. Great bar! But maybe like synchronize watches with a friend or something so you can tell if you accidentally get slide-teleported.
