Jolie is the best restaurant in Raleigh. Beverage manager Stephen is always fantastic. Knowledgeable and generous with both his time and his pours, he is always a joy to see. The food is second to none. Incredible steak tartare, tender and flavorful hanger steak, and the Normandy butter served with the bread is the best you can find. Not to mention the frites (both herb and truffle) might be the greatest fries in the world. My wife and I consistently try various restaurants in and around Raleigh, but Jolie is the one that continually exceeds expectations!

The service was outstanding and the food delicious! Jolie's Summer menu has added the Striped Bass, which was simply amazing. It's always a pleasure to dine at Jolie!

We recently had yet another 5-star experience at the best French restaurant in the Triangle if not Tar Heel State. Thank you, Jolie, for the exquisite food (your latest escargot recipe is out of control!!) and excellent hospitality. Our friends from out of town, who are just as picky as we are with high quality food and also have a gluten allergy, raved about Jolie as well.

The special small and entree plates were absolutely stunning, the rooftop was beautiful and our waitress was super.

We had a nice experience at Jolie. It’s a tiny place so make a reservation and book the rooftop if you can. It’s very cozy and a great date place. Food was excellent. Cocktails also very good. I had the Bronzino special and it was delicious. There is also a speak easy in the basement that you can go to if you’ve eaten at the restaurant.

Start to finish, the best meal that I can remember.

I loved this place! I went here for my birthday dinner with my best friend and despite no reservation on a Saturday we actually managed to snag a table on the roof. It was a super windy night but everything was handled professionally, there are heaters and curtains. The stairway is beautifully decorated so of course we had to snap a pic. The food was incredible! Yummy bread and herb butter, great wine selection, and the special scallops I had were delicious. My friend is vegetarian and normally when there is only one option she isn't too hyped but she was raving about the gnocchi. She said she wanted to eat it everyday. The desert was out of this world, decadent chocolate mousse that felt like just enough after all that rich food. Would love to visit again! I hope they can expand one day, they seem like they need more space!

You must make a reservation. This place is always booked. Have to say it's definitely a fine dining experience. The service is top notch and so friendly! There is even a sweet, gorgeous, college student working there who speaks French if you're in need of practice to speak French. Interestingly, there is like a bar in the basement so you can feel the floor shake sometimes 😂. Everything is amazing, tartare, escargot, steak and fish. Drinks are special by the bartender so be sure to try one of his limited time craft drinks. Definitely 10 out of 10 must go, in Raleigh.

The food was exquisite!! I especially loved the lump crab butternut squash bisque and the roasted delicata squash dish. And the pumpkin cheesecake with pepita brittle was AMAZING!! We had other excellent dishes including the swordfish and the beef cheek bourguignon. Our server was excellent. Great experience. First time dining there, but we look forward to returning.

Everything is perfect about Jolie in Raleigh. It is one of our premier restaurants. The service is always first class and top notch. Everyone there works to help you and make sure you enjoy your experience. Stephen the bartender is awesome, some of the best cocktails in the triangle. The food is always the star. Everything is great. The mussels, beef tartar z and escargot make great starters. And for entrees, the steak frites is one of the best ever. You can't go wrong here. One of our favs.

Absolutely amazing! The bread and butter is to die for. Definitely worth the order. I could eat that butter on its own, it was so good! I’ve also tasted many French onion soups in many different restaurants, and this one might come out on top of all of them! It was deliciously made, the cheese they use is perfect, and everything in it compliments each other so well. There was a very well balanced amount of each ingredient so every bite was perfect. My significant other ordered the bisque which was also delicious. We ordered the steak frites which were cooked beautifully, and the ratatouille (first time trying that) which was fantastic. The chocolate cake was beautifully accompanied by the pistachio ice cream and everything about it was amazing. We tried their seasonal dessert as well which was a vanilla ice cream with peaches and nuts. This dessert was also delicious.
The service was well paced and the atmosphere on the roof was beautiful during the sunset.

I couldn’t have better things to say about this spot. Absolutely fantastic experience and I would definitely return.
