For some reason the raleigh trend is to pay more for a coffee that they no longer fill up all the way...Its sad they have great coffee but will short you just to save a few pennies. It you can get past the rude northerners from states like NY that congregate here, its a really lovely atmosphere.

The coffee is absolutely delicious. It tastes better than Starbucks.

I'm not a light roast girly, but my husband is, and he loved the Flat White. When it comes to coffee he's a little hard to please so that's high praise! The guy who took our order was very nice and helpful too! The only thing that could make it better would be a dark roast :) but no complaints

Place is nice and not your stereotypical coffee place. I ordered a pour over and it was the best coffe I can recall I have ever had. Next time I am in that area I will be stopping by to get some delicious coffee. Even the patrons were talkative and kind. Great vibe.

Everything this place makes is amazing. The only downside is how crowded it can get!

Best biscuit I’ve ever tasted. I try to be gluten free but I couldn’t refuse and loved every bite. The line was out the door but moved quickly and food came quickly.

chic coffee spot. The flat white was amazing, very robust and smooth. The country ham egg and cheese biscuit was BOMB, salty and savory with a runny yolk.

Fantastic coffee. Luscious biscuits. Worth a stop, more if possible.
The coffee drinks are good and they have a rotating selection of beans from Black & White coffee. The drop biscuits are so delicious and you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose to go with it (jam, honey, or as a breakfast sandwich)Finding a seat indoors can be tricky at peak times, but when the weather's nice there's plenty of extra seating outside.

The coffee is great and always has been and I think most people know that by now. One of the better cafes in Raleigh for sure, and probably in NC. About as good as Black and White but I think I have a preference for B&W. They have a lot of excellent flavored drinks if you want a treat.I haven’t had much of the food, but everything I’ve had is great. Today I got the birria tartine, which I believe is a limited time item consisting of a piece of toast, some sort of aioli or spread, cabbage, braised lamb, and a fried egg on top. It was awesome. Really well cooked, and a well designed flavor combo. Mine was a bit underseasoned so I asked for some salt, and they gave me a little cup of Diamond Crystal kosher salt which made me laugh. About the best case scenario. I was expecting just a salt shaker or one of those little paper packets. Anyway I think my only critique of that dish would be to thicken the birria sauce with starch or gelatin or butter or something so that it can cling to the meat better and stay on top instead of disappearing into the bread. The decor and building is very nice but it’s always so incredibly crowded.

Been here twice. Got black coffees both times. Both times coffee was horribly burnt. Would take gas station coffee instead any day over.Long lines both days; not sure what beings people here; maybe flavored drinks?
