I visited this seafood market on July 13, 2025, and purchased a few pounds of shrimp. As soon as I got home, I immediately put them in the refrigerator. The next day when I opened the bag to cook them, I was hit with a vile, unbearable smell — the shrimp were completely spoiled. I couldn’t even keep them in my home, let alone cook them.
I also found it strange how the shrimp were buried underneath the ice, which seemed like an attempt to make them appear fresher than they really were. In hindsight, that explains why they were already spoiled at the time of purchase. Very disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning.

The owners of this amazing Jun's Fresh Seafood , are so attentive and give the best customer service. My experience there was so positive. I asked questions about fish that I wasn't familiar with...and the owner went out his way to give me some valuable information of the various fish. Both he and his wife are so kind. Yes...I highly recommend this establishment!!!

After recently moving to Raleigh and doing my due diligence, I came across this hidden gem. I had seen them on Google before but was hesitant to stop by—there was no website and it seemed a bit quiet. But then I remembered: those are usually the ones. After passing by a few times, I finally decided to check it out.
Right from the jump, the owner was super cool, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable. I picked up some oysters, and let me tell you—after shopping around at Whole Foods and other local spots in the Triangle, these were hands down the freshest oysters I’ve had. Amazing size, unbeatable price (no joke). I’ll definitely be back for more oysters and can’t wait to try some fish next time.
Very friendly family business. They are very welcoming when you walk through the door and their customer service is top notch! Never disappointed going to Jun’s seafood market! Highly recommend for your fresh seafood purchases!

The people are very nice and friendly but they are high priced and some crabs be totally black on the inside and can not eat them when you report it or show them they will not accommodate for your loss prices are too high for there small crabs
