Kanki - North Market Square

My husband and I brought our interior decorator and her fiancé for dinner. The food was great. The service was slow. My husband paid cash and waited forever for the waiter and we had to leave and so left over a $120 tip.

Great Waitstaff and our Hibachi Cook was really entertaining. Thank you both. Food is Standard and could be a bit better. Cleanliness would be appreciated in the Entrance/Bar Area and in the Dining Area as the Floors are very Slippery and Fatty.

We had a great time. The chef was very fun and the servers were polite and friendly. It was a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The Rockin Lava Shrimp and the Hibachi Steak are delicious. We love it here and will be back!

I got the samurai, however, my filet mignon tasted funny, and the sushi I ate was fresh and the service was nice.

Food is fresh and tastes even better the next day.

I always love coming to kanki. The Deep ocean roll is bomb, hibachi is fire and the show is always fun to watch.

Kanki is always a favorite of ours-Mother's Day was busy & reservations were a must for a holiday like this. We were sat within 10 minutes of our reservation time & hostess kept us updated. Our server (Darren) & Chef Rickey were amazing. It was extremely busy but server kept water refilled and checked on us several times. Food was cooked perfectly. It was quite loud due to birthday songs & packed room for Mother's Day but it was a fun meal. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Kanki!

We had a great time celebrating a birthday here. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive and the hibachi chef was super personable and very funny. Food tasted great and was cooked perfectly.

Exhaust fans do not work very well. Clothes were consumed with the smell of the food. Hostess was terrible. Restaurant is extremely dated!

Sat at a table with 2 other groups of 4 and we all had a great time! We had birthdays in 2 of the 3 groups. The service was great and the food was delicious!

This was a birthday celebration. The waitress asked if anyone was celebrating anything and we said birthday. We were seated next to a fan blowing out artic cold air, first of all. Second, it took over an hour for the chef to come out and start cooking our food. Our reservation was at 1:00, so we are looking at 2:00 now and thankfully we weren't on an hour lunch break. So the chef seemed very nervous like it was this first time cooking. There was very little interaction with them. Once food started on the grill, it was very slow, no rush whatsoever! Now this Kanki closed at 2:00 so I guess that why the idk attitude was there. When speaking to the manager, she gave off the impression that she really didn't care either and we saw her give her one couple something but didn't even bother to say anything to us or come and get the our view on it. So this is the worst experience I have had with Kanki. They are already an expensive place for lunch, dinner and anything in-between. If you don't want to be bothered close to closing then don't have your reservations open! This has truly but a bad taste in my mouth. Also no song or dessert for my coworker's birthday!

Food was great and service was outstanding. A little issue with needing table moved when we arrived because we could not all fit where we were originally seated. They moved us within 1 minute of sitting down and all was well from there. Delicious food and our chef was extremely entertaining. One of our favorite family food places and we out often so that's saying a lot.

We had the best server & best chef we've ever had at Kanki. Our table was full of three different families, we celebrated a little boy's 9th birthday & it was so much fun. The food was fantastic as always, but this might have been THE BEST filet we've had cooked there. I 100% recommend Kanki - family night, date night, birthday, anniversary. Always a great time!
