So sad this place has closed. By far the best sushi in Raleigh
Sad to hear yal closed, one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh to visit. Wish I could've ordered the jalapeño chicken one more time with the carolina reaper flakes.

This place is terrible. We ordered takeout tonight and the woman on the phone could NOT have been more rude. When we went to pick it up, half of our order was missing and when I called to ask if we could return to pick it up, she was just as rude as the first time. The sushi she assured me was gluten free had multiple tempura flakes in the container so while it was made without gluten containing ingredients, it was NOT Safe to eat. Celiacs beware! Bad bites of chicken and fish in both dishes. Absolutely do not recommend under any circumstance.

I wish I liked this place more than I did. It's such a pretty little restaurant and the hostess was friendly, but the food was not good. The moo shu pork was gristly, mostly inedible, and the rice pancakes were stale. The hunan beef was just ok.

The inside of the restaurant is very nice looking. It gives off a warm, inviting, and serene atmosphere. The food was great; my sister and I both got the BOGO sushi rolls. Service was friendly and quick. The only downside we had was the bathroom. It did not appear either the men's or women's bathrooms had been cleaned well and there were unflushed matter left sitting in both the men's urinal and women's toilet. For the price, food, and atmosphere I would visit again. However, I would make sure to avoid the bathroom.

A no-frills restaurant with some of the best sushi you're likely to find in the entire state, and a Sake selection second to none. If you like Sushi, come here and ask for a chef's choice selection. You won't be disappointed.

This is a hidden gem in Raleigh!! I recommend for everyone to try this place and see what you think, my first time experience here was amazing. First of all, this is a really cute and unique restaurant. I feel like it was probably a BBQ joint in a past life and has been remade into a Sushi restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the sushi. We got the BOGO Valley Girl rolls and they were superb. Also got the hibachi, which was also very good. We got the egg drop soup and sweet and sour soup as starters, also great. The only down side was the very uncomfortable wooden chairs. Otherwise, and excellent experience over all.Price was cheap too! Highly recommend.
