This place is a joke! 30 minutes wait. You can’t even sit!

If I could give no stars I would. Sat down for breakfast and service was really bad. Breakfast sandwich took incredibly long to get even though only 3 tables were taken. When I cancelled my order to not miss my flight, I couldn't cancel the food. Asked for water and never got it. Just a bloody experience with arrogant wait staff.

The food and drinks are good. The thing that got me to review just now is that they're serving at the tables now. Don't think they were doing this last time I was here.

I arrived, and saw no other staff than the ones at the register, so my first assumption was to go to the register and order.

I was not aware that I was ordering “to go” only and could not use the dining room - I’m so used to ordering at the counter, and eating at the tables, but no - the dining room is for “Dine in” customers only, which was not clear. I understand reserving the seats for actual customers (instead of just bystanders), but once I paid for my order and tried to sit down, I was quickly instructed that I couldn’t sit there. Didn’t say why.

Then I tried to sit at a table near the bar, and was asked if I was ordering something. I showed my receipt and was told that i had a “to go” order and had to wait by the (already crowded) counter.

So I went over to the entrance to wait. Once my name was called, I received a plate. My name, my order number, my food. I turned around and was about to ask if I could sit in the dining room, as I had a plate, only to have the plate taken out of my hands before I could say anything. The waitress started “that’s not your food”. I was baffled. My name, my food, my order number.

However, I didn’t have the chance to do anything, as my plate was taken back to the counter (that I was less than 5 feet from). I was extremely confused.

Then I was told that the waitress was waiting on the SAME order, and mine would be in a to go box, but because they touched it, I couldn’t accept the food until they remade it. (I understand sanitary rules)

As I waited again, the staff talked amongst themselves, then kept pointing at me (again, less than 5 feet away) like I didn’t existed, trying to figure out what I wanted.

Needless to say, I got my box and booked it out of there, expecting to be stopped again.

I read many other reviews that state that the “dining room” and “to go” areas are distinct, but not very well labeled or instructed. I would have ordered “Dine In” if I knew, but there weren’t any clear instructions that I could grab a seat and order, as other food services at airports don’t have that policy.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I felt like I had to do this.

Solid coffee option in the airport. The sugar free cream cold brew was great.

So happy to see La Farm Bakery at RDU Airport! FIVE STARS for our eat-in meal at RDU and a takeout home following our 8-day trip.

The bread is absolutely fabulous and tastes great just don't come here for a coffee beverage.

I asked for macchiato and they said they don't have it then I asked for a cappuccino and you can see the video that is not what I received.

I’ve been eating here for years before flights - it used to be fine but they recently decided to be militant about where you could or could not sit depending on where you ordered your food. Not only is it unclear, but it didn’t use to be a rule enforced at all.

Either way this is poor customer service. Let your customer eat their overpriced La Farm food instead of harassing them after they sat down to eat. They just made an older lady sat next to me pick up her stuff and go.

Save your self the hassle. It always has line ups. I fly once a month and it’s painful to dealt with them, long lines and only one cashier. It’s a cash cow for RDU so I see no change coming.

Lots of negative reviews as well so it’s consistently bad.
