Absolutely delicious & authentic French food! Beautiful decor & excellent customer service! Will definitely be back! Can't wait to try everything on the menu!
Nice place. Friendly and decently fast service. Clean and very nice aesthetic. Food was good and portions were too.
This french restaurant was a wonderful suprise for us . We found it extremely clean open floor plan definitely a step up from normal chain restaurants. Wait staff was a tentative and friendly. Food was excellent. The plus is there is a take out bakery with French pastry & breads. We will be back
I've always enjoyed my visits to La Madeleine's (Columbia MD and Buford GA locations, in particular) so I was excited to see a restaurant in my current neighborhood. However, the menu options have changed and I didn't enjoy it as much as before. I'm hoping the spring/summer menu is better.
The place was really nice and clean reason I'm giving 2 stars .
We enjoy the food - specifically the baked goods and spinach salad. However the system they use is just inefficient and simply not working. We waited for at least 3 min (which is a long time to just stand there) before the hostess acknowledged our presence then after waiting over ten min (not joking we timed it) I finally went to the to-go counter to place an order. We received our food in a timely manner and it tasted great! That being said we were never waited on and we saw at least two other tables have the same issue. Oddly enough they were maybe 1/3 full so they were not overly busy.
Great service. The food was excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant made you feel like you were in France.
This is a great place for breakfast and now I want to come back for lunch and dinner. Our breakfast was very, very good, service was excellent (although it was not busy when we came) and atmosphere was very pleasant. This place is a gem and I look forward to returning often
First time here for breakfast and had a great experience!! The food was great and service was very friendly and professional. I loved the oatmeal with fruit, American breakfast, and their creme brí»lée.
I went there with a friend for dinner on a Wednesday night. The waiter was friendly but he was busy with so many tables and did not check on us during the whole dinner. The atmosphere was decent but I want to say it lacked music. The food was decent. I would go back to give it another chance but from reading many of the reviews, I think management should make some changes and this place can go a long way!

My daughters and I went here around 1:30pm. There were maybe 5 tables seated I was surprised seeing I've only heard good things about this place now I see why. About 80% of my Caesar salad had brown romaine lettuce and a cup of dressing on it. The server brought one of my daughters her dish 15 mins before I and my other daughter received hers. Service and food preparation should have gone a lot faster seeing how empty the place was. Restroom was gross and was out of toilet paper. We will not be back.
The atmosphere was nice and inviting. The food was ok at best. We ordered the cinnamon french toast. Which was a croissant cut in half, and that was fine. It was just served cold, and the server must have been finishing her breakfast while we were there. She came out of the back with her mouth full. Not a great experience.
Went to la Madeleine with my wife on Sunday morning for breakfast. This was the first time experience. We both liked it very much, food was good, coffee was great and a warm and cozy atmosphere. Background music was relaxing, they played a lot of classical peaces. Our waiter, Blake, was great, very attentive and friendly. He said that this is one of the few restaurants in this chain that has waiters, all others are self service. Will comeback again and recommend to our friends. Bottom line: great place for a relaxing meal.
My boyfriend and I stopped by yesterday for a loaf of bread and decided to sit down and eat. We waited at the front for five minutes before I had to ask someone if we seat ourselves. Everyone seemed confused about what their roles were and who should be doing what. After we were seated, my boyfriend went up to the counter to pay for the sourdough bread we came for, so that they didn't run out while we were eating. The waitress decided that it would be a good idea to approach the table and ask if we were ready to order..when only one of us was there, and she hadn't even taken our drink order. It was bizarre. I told my boyfriend what happened when he got back to the table and we both decided to just leave. I gave it two stars because the restaurant was cute and the food did look good. Service really needs some work. I think the setup is more complicated than it needs to be.
I truly do love this place! I went here for my very first time a week or so ago. The staff is lovely, and the food is delicious. As a vegetarian it's very hard to find good food sometimes but, this wonderful cafe surpassed my expectations on having any options at all! I visit France a lot, and even speak the language- and this place makes me feel like I am there! Even the food resembles french cuisine. This cafe has beautiful decor and, I adore the music they play here! This place is absolutely pristine and, very clean. All and, all I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who loves small cafes! Great place!
