The service was completely unacceptable. We pre-ordered and reserved a banquet room. The management quoted us a pre-set menu with pricing. At checkout the server would not honor the pre-arranged Agreement. The restaurant ran out of food. The waiter did not provide drinks, nor details on the status of food. The general manager did not try to provide any amount of discount or an update on the miscommunication. We cannot express the level of dissatisfaction experienced tonight. Do NOT visit this establishment. Do NOT order from GrubHub!! We communicated our disappointment with the general manager who offered minimal support.

Evidently, reviews mean nothing to you guys! I'm at a loss for words! I really enjoy the food here and due to there not being another in NC, this location is my only choice. This is the slowest, most unorganized restaurant I've ever visited! I thought maybe you guys would make some type of changes, but again, nothing! As far as the food goes, this place is wonderful! I love the soups, salads, & the breakfast is great! Your service and wait staff are something else to talk about. Your management needs work. Everything that is wrong in any business goes back to management due to someone not taking responsibility for correcting problems. I would love to know how often the owner visits? He/She should be more involved and he/she could make the changes this place needs to succeed! I truly want this place to thrive and remain open so that myself and others who've always enjoyed La Madeleine, can continue to enjoy it. Omg omg omg I cannot believe somebody made my bacon perfectly cooked.(fried or whatever) whoever he was (server didn't know his name)so many THANK YOU. It was perfectly reddish brown and crispy, yummy. On the other side, server needs to pay attention on the menu and orders and customers, but other than that, they good. Next time I come ,I need to find that guy made my bacon again.

I love this place every time I come here. I've had food in France that wasn't as good as the food here. The beef and potatoes was delicious and very filling. My friend had the quiche Loraine (it's his usual) and he loves it every time. We split the French toast for dessert and its piled with delicious fruit. It's the perfect French toast because unlike other French toast it is crispy and doesn't taste too eggy. There are so many other things on the menu I'm looking forward to trying.

This french restaurant was a wonderful suprise for us . We found it extremely clean open floor plan definitely a step up from normal chain restaurants. Wait staff was a tentative and friendly. Food was excellent. The plus is there is a take out bakery with French pastry & breads. We will be back

I've always enjoyed my visits to La Madeleine's (Columbia MD and Buford GA locations, in particular) so I was excited to see a restaurant in my current neighborhood. However, the menu options have changed and I didn't enjoy it as much as before. I'm hoping the spring/summer menu is better.

Our first visit was superb, great customer service and food was wonderful. Unfortunately, our second visit lacked customer service & food was not consistent. Our server barely came around to check on us other than to take our order & drop off food. My strawberry with waffles did not come with whip cream & powdered sugar, when I asked our server he said that whip cream is served per request (which we did not have to request for last time) he also never mentioned it while taking our order and apparently they ran out of powdered sugar? This was on a Saturday morning. To top it off my waffles were overcooked, unless you like crunchy waffles. My half sandwich was a quarter of a full sandwich and very hard. My husband got an omelet that was burnt on the outside.

We enjoy the food - specifically the baked goods and spinach salad. However the system they use is just inefficient and simply not working. We waited for at least 3 min (which is a long time to just stand there) before the hostess acknowledged our presence then after waiting over ten min (not joking we timed it) I finally went to the to-go counter to place an order. We received our food in a timely manner and it tasted great! That being said we were never waited on and we saw at least two other tables have the same issue. Oddly enough they were maybe 1/3 full so they were not overly busy.

This review is for dessert only. The two of us watched one too many food shows on tv and were craving something sweet, so we decided to check out the bakery part of this cafe on this Sunday evening. Note: "Cafe" usually means a small place, but the dining rooms are far from small, yet are warm & inviting. We were greeted and offered menus, but when we said we only came for dessert, we were pointed to the dessert case, straight ahead. It was a nice selection of good-looking items. I decided to try a trio of mini tarts: a lemon one, chocolate and a fruit tart. Husband chose a slice of creme brulee cheesecake. We paid at the register, sat at a table, and were brought our plated choices along with a couple decaff's. It was all terrific! I've had tarts in fancy bakeries before that were stale and flavorless, but not these. All three were very good! Husband's cheesecake had a strong vanilla flavor, which was also very good. And the coffee was fresh and went beautifully with our sweets. We were impressed enough to check out the menu before we left, swearing to come back to try breakfast, lunch or dinner sometime soon.

This is a great place for breakfast and now I want to come back for lunch and dinner. Our breakfast was very, very good, service was excellent (although it was not busy when we came) and atmosphere was very pleasant. This place is a gem and I look forward to returning often
