I got the Tropical Shrimp Ceviche yesterday as a meal instead of an appetizer and it was absolutely incredible. All the ingredients were so crisp and fresh and I really enjoyed it. I live three hours away and just came to Raleigh for the day and decided to eat here. I will make the three hour drive to come back, that’s how much I enjoyed it. Super friendly staff, the atmosphere is absolutely stunning and just beautiful. The prices are fantastic for all the fresh food and large portions you get as well. I can’t wait to take my family here!

We were seated very quickly but the food wasn't so great. The chicken was flavorless and the carne asada fries were cold. We got margaritas and it tasted like straight syrup. We had to ask twice for plates, utensils and napkins. For the price we paid the food or drinks were not worth it.

Have driven by the restaurant many times on my way into Downtown Raleigh. Decided to try it.I was pleased. Waiter was excellent and humorous. Manager came over to help bus the table and ask how everything was. Food was delicious. Speed was prompt. I will be going back soon and would recommend!Dietary restrictions: Peanut allergy and waiter check to confirm no peanut oil is being used

We dined at around 5:30-6:00 on a Friday evening. We were seated right away and tended to by wait staff within the first 2 minutes (with warm tortilla chips and salsa)! Any questions we had, since we were first timers, were answered very well. We were given what I thought was the right amount of time to look through and choose from their extensive menu. Once we placed our order, our entrees were out to the table in about 15 minutes.Food was served hot and it was delicious. Even after our entrees were served, we were well attended by staff to make sure our soft drinks were topped off and any other needs were met.Prices were very affordable. All in all, a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be coming back again.

First time here, wife and I decided to grab a midweek date night. The food here is made with love , attention to detail is obvious with the preparation of the fresh veg and tasty meat. The salsa , guac and dips are definitely homemade and super fresh. Not over seasoned or spiced. Portions are nice, not too much or too little for the fair prices. Honestly, best authentic Mexican I've had in the Triangle. My wife is crazy about Mexican foods.. she says it's the best! Great management team and servers. Louis, manager on duty, was visiting patrons and making sure they were satisfied. He was patrolling the kitchen as well, this is a great manager. Isabella , our server, was very kind, big smile, very attentive! Great server!! If you want Great Mexican fare , give these guys a try!! We will be back soon....

But last night, having to share the restaurant with a stroller full of screaming spider monkeys dressed in baby clothes, I find that I have to.I'm not going to relate the full story, because I've pretty much just recovered from being furious. In short, a family was allowed to bring in a stroller full of screaming spider monkeys dressed in baby clothes to sit inside the restaurant.Every other person in the restaurant was losing their mind with the noise. Those of us who were sitting the closest were suffering the most. I eventually had to give up and just ask for a to-go box. The manager allowed this to happen, never went to any of the tables to apologize or explain, and didn't take any discounts off anyone's food. People had to move to get away from the noise. Not to mention the fact that I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to have spider monkeys in a restaurant.We were told that they were allowed to come in because they had been sitting outside with them when it started raining. Except that wasn't true because my family arrived when the spider monkeys did so we were all walking up at the same time.I felt terrible for our waitress who had to keep apologizing but the management here took absolutely no ownership of the situation.I'm not sure if I'll ever go back because it was so frustrating. I hope the monkeys tipped well enough to make up for all the lost patrons.****Past review*****Always have a great time here. Service is outstanding (genuine and friendly manager visits) and the food is unique and delicious. Had a perfectly cooked ribeye and queso tonight. Mom loved the pineapple margarita (and the half price refill).

Have eaten here in person and via delivery. Every-time we order from here on Uber eats sides are missing and something is not right. Not with extra requests just what normally should be there is messed up. The last time they forgot beans with the carnitas enchiladas, we got one tiny cup of salsa even though we ordered two enters and got cheese dip, and my burrito was just not good at all. Only thing that was good was the carnitas enchiladas but without the beans. I got the al pastor burrito because I've liked the tacos before. The meat was nothing like the meat that I've had in the tacos and the burrito was all rice, pineapple with a little bit of meat. I will never order this again. It was a ton of rice. Guess I'll get the tacos again. I also will never order delivery from here again. I don't know what it is but almost every-time I order mexican food to go from any place it always seems messed up or they forget something. So i'll just go in person now or not at all.

Came to eat dinner with my boyfriend and we were seated immediately. It wasn’t too busy, but I think it’s because of the other La Rancherita in Crabtree and not a lot of people know about the location. The service and atmosphere were great! The portions sizes were very big and one is enough to feed two people. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was good, although it has a bit too much cheese. Overall, it was a clean and good restaurant.

I have to say I was not looking forward to eating at yet another Mexican restaurant for my night out since there are so many around here and I haven’t found one that is really good. But I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the strawberry basil margaritas were and that my food was good too. The margaritas were made with fresh juice and not that sugary margarita mix. will definitely be back.
