Absolutely wonderful experience and big thanks to the owner Mr. Jessie for being so humble and creating a beautiful restaurant. Would recommend to anyone on the planet who thinks good service is important.
I went with a group of omnis, two of whom are gluten-free. I ordered the only vegan option on the menu (Pastor Vegano), and it looked vegan from the description, but I asked for verification. This turned out to be a very good thing because everything at the restaurant is cooked with butter—even the filling for the Pastor Vegano. They substituted olive oil because I asked, so be sure to ask. The Pastor Vegano was served with black beans that had been cooked with lard. I asked about the refried beans and was told those were also cooked with lard. Two stars because the margarita was good and my friends all had plenty of delicious food to eat. Food was good but need to give an honest review. The music was SO loud in this restaurant and extremely dark. We could not hear our daughters at our table of 4 or read the menus.

Ate here on a visit to Raleigh. This might be the best sit down Mexican food I have had since moving from California. Highly recommend.

My date and I both agreed that the food was the best Mexican food we’ve had in a long time. The service was great and the atmosphere was a vibe.

Perfect place to hang out with friends and have a good night. Drinks are priced well, and the food is spot on with the brand.
As an authentic Mexican place it’s pretty darn close with a modern twist. 4/5 would definitely recommend.
Service was just okay due to the fact that we came with a larger group. You can tell La Santa isn’t setup for that type of dinner party (6+}. All other tables were 2-4 people and seemed to be perfectly fine.
Next time we’ll come back for a date night ?

It’s my third time visiting this place and they never miss. There’s something about the salsa they serve here that’s just so good. Love the taco dish I got!
Good food. We are out on the terrace which was nice, but the sun was shining right on us at lunch, so was a little inconvenient but other than that was a nice experience. I liked the hot sauce they gave me with my tacos as it was respectably hot. Tasted like it was made with fresh habaneros. The waitress was very accommodating and nice, even gave me some extra sauce to take home since I liked it.
