Start to finish fantastic. It was a busy Saturday and they still adjusted our reservation without any issues. Everyone in the staff was friendly and helpful. Most importantly the food and views were amazing.
Very loud with a large party next to us that was exceptionally loud. Service was VERY SLOW - for second time there. Food - ok but ran out of lamb chops - felt we missed out probably because service was so very slow. This restaurant has great potential but they really need to focus on the experience for their guests. It's too slow and waiters should not be also cleaning tables.
Felt like we were in New York City! Our server Kayla was so delightful, knowledgeable and made our experience extra special!
Blonde Joey, our server, was charming, respectful, fun, down to earth and authentic. His parents should be very proud. A nice young man.
The view is awesome, our server Kaylah was excellent, food was well presented and tasted great. Love the beet salad and the ceaser. The salmon and the lamb were both excellent. The only real sour point was our first impression. We walked in, I gave our name and party size to the sullen hostess. She didn't really greet us, nor give us any sense of our status. She wrote our name in pen on a piece of paper after I gave it to her and told us to go stand over by the corner. Near a sign that said “wait to be seated”. Did that mean we didn't have a table yet, or we needed to wait for the rest of our party or what we didn't know. She didn't say anything further and it was clear she didn't want to elaborate. She was not a good first impression at all and it wasn't just us as I witnessed others coming with the same lackluster greeting and instruction. I believe why we were told to wait in the corner was waiting for the other hostess to come out and take us to our table but telling us that would have been heaps better. It's pricey and I would consider going back but their hostesses could use some customer service skills
Everything was great except the noise level. We loved the view and food was great. Honestly, it was a little pricey for us.
Food was great as always! I love the view and so happy the patio was closed in and heated!!
The bread is worth the $8. The duck confit is the best I've every had. The sauce on the lamb shank took away from taste of the meat--relied to heavily on the pomegranate flavor--just my opinion and all comments have to do with my taste choices.
Food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. Nothing else in Raleigh like it! 10/10
The view was beautiful. I love Italian food, and it was just ok. Again, the view was amazing.

Great vibe and great service! I would definitely come back here again. They even upgraded us to a room since our party was larger!
If you are looking for a great atmosphere with an excellent view of downtown Raleigh, this is the place to go. We went for a special occasion (birthday) and decided to try something new. The menu had decent variety, but if you are looking for an authentic Italian meal, you probably want to look elsewhere. The pasta was decent, but nothing special. Sauces were somewhat bland. Drinks were fine but the usual downtown Raleigh prices. The service was excellent - very attentive and friendly, and knew when to come by and not interrupt a conversation. There was no special treatment for the birthday celebrant except a friendly "happy birthday" from the waiter.
Apps, meals and dessert were all excellent- high quality ingredients and prepared perfectly. Cocktails- ginger and cosmo martinis were perfect. Watch sunset on large terrace. My son said his pizza was just ok. Great place for date or special occasion.
Came here for my anniversary dinner. We were seated immediately even though we arrived for our reservation early. Our server Tim was attentive and personable, he even went and picked fresh flowers for our table to make it special. That was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Our food was delicious. The only suggestion would be for the croutons in the Caesar salad which were incredibly hard, but luckily I didn't loose a tooth and we got them on the side. That's honestly minor and didn't take away from our culinary experience. Everything else was cooked perfectly.
The best lasagna with beautiful views of downtown Raleigh. The restaurant has floor to ceiling windows and a gorgeous patio. If it would have been warmer weather, eating outside seems wonderful, too!
