My son decided to take us out to this Absolutely delightful restaurant on the ninth floor we sat on the out door balcony just after dark ,the views were stunning all the downtown buildings were lit up .the light though out the restaurant gave off an Enchanting mellow atmospheric jib, which gave you the feeling of being in a kind of Exotic location ,the excellence of the service, the absolutely Exquisite food presentation Coupled
with the atmosphere really added to the experience. I highly recommend this beautifully located restaurant and we had the best server in the entire restaurant that was Melissa. She was right on point. Always thinking ahead to make sure we had everything we needed for an enhanced amazing dining experience. .

Parking: The views from the waiting area restaurant. Are absolutely spectacular.

Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair accessibility Play parking garage there is An elevator to the ninth floor and right straight into the restaurant Waiting area and then straight into the restaurant itself. All is very accessible.

First of all, the food was FANTASTIC! We came here for my fiancés birthday and unfortunately we’re less than impressed. The server came to our table a total of 5 times, once to drop the check off. We sat there for at least 30 minutes before she came to take our order, after getting our appetizer. We weren’t given an explanation of the menu, if there were any features, or given any recommendations. We truly wanted to enjoy La Terrazza, but it wasn’t worth it tonight. We did hear other staff interacting more with the other patrons.

Overall it was okay. The appetizers were really good but the mains were just ok. Soo much pork in many dishes too. I would probably not go for dinner again.

We enjoyed our five-star dining experience with good friends, breathtaking views of Raleigh’s skyline, and incredible food at La Terrazza and Sky Bar! Perched on the 9th floor of The Dillon, next to the Capital City’s Union Station, the setting was enchanting, with a moonlit, starry sky and the distant sound of train horns. Our dinner special of scallops and risotto was delicious! La Terrazza offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot to soak in the views. One suggestion: Ask for a chair cushion. The wire chairs are a bit uncomfortable.

Parking: Parking in The Dillon garage was easy in and easy out on a Thursday night...

Fantastic atmosphere with great views of downtown Raleigh. This place makes for a nice date night spot.

We got the bread service which was alright, the bread was not warm. We also got the arnacini which was great, and tasted fresh.

As entrees we got the Sicilian (pesto pasta) and a lasagna. The pesto uses pistachio, so it's not how you'd expect traditional pesto to taste; it was a bit more on the bitter side and was a little bit oily. I understand how pesto is made but it seemed like to loosen the sauce they added more oil rather than pasta water. The lasagna seemed to be short on bechamel, but was otherwise hearty as you'd expect lasagna to be.

We finished up with tiramisu which was well done.

Though the heart of these dishes were apparent, there were some slight shortcomings that I hope get resolved as this restaurant continues seeing more guests. At a price point of $75+ pp (3 courses + drinks), I'd expect small issues like these to not slip through. All else, the space is gorgeous, service is alright (we were there on a busier Friday), and food is pleasant.

Parking: There's a paid parking deck right below the restaurant

Had a lovely dinner with a sunset view on their outdoor patio. However the next day my husband noticed an extra $20 charge on the total from the restaurant on our credit card bill. We didn’t grab a receipt so I wanted to verify the charge with the restaurant and tried to call. I’ve called twice, left a message on their voicemail and left an “inquiry” on their website trying to understand if this charge was accurate or not and no one has gotten back to me. No one answers the hostess line either, I waited on hold and eventually just hung up. Such a shame, I would have definitely recommended this place but now I wouldn’t go back if we’re going to get mystery charges on our card and can’t call anyone to review it.

La Terazza is an incredible addition to downtown Raleigh. The fact that it is on the 9th floor of the Dillard building is reason enough to check this restaurant out for the beautiful view of the city. When walking off the elevator you are greeted by a gorgeous entrance. It looks classy and is very appealing. Even at 6:00 this place was packed on a Friday evening. We had a reservation for 4 with seating outside. It was a beautiful night with a slight breeze and the atmosphere was electric. It was a wonderful mix of ages and ethnicities.
The service was prompt and professional. From the drinks to the creative appetizers to the main course and scrumptious dessert, there is not a bad thing to say. We cannot wait to go back to La Terazza!

The food at this restaurant equals food in Italy. It is fabulous! We had five different dishes and all were excellent. For $15 the salads were a bit small but they were very very good. We had the beet And the Greek. The bread was excellent even though it is $8.... Thought it was worth. The skewers that include lamb were delicious. Love the tuna Tartar. Liked the pistachio pasta, although it was my least favorite dish . Our service ..mostly joey
But other servers helped , was extremely good even especially considering the restaurant was busy, busy busy. Very difficult to get a reservation. We had to go for a 5:15 and I was thinking the restaurant would be practically empty but it was extremely busy. Just not that many restaurants in this area where I feel the food is of this quality. Also liked the wine list.... Do not usually see a wine from priorat, Spain. Happy to see and it Was very good. The view is really spectacular from the Terrace. However, it is noisy but that's because so many people are there!
