A hidden gem! My friend and I wanted a pick me up after some thrifting and this felt like the only place open. Down a gravel road, this tucked away coffee shop has hot, decaf, and nitro- with tea selections as well(non-dairy creamer was available). We hung out in the cozy seating area and checked out the local goods. Will definitely be back!

The new ownership team at Larry’s Coffee seems unwilling to resolve shipping problems or even communicate with customers. In my case, I ordered a 2-pound bag of Woodstock Coffee that fell far short of the mark. After reporting this problem, I did not receive any response at all. After about 2 weeks I sent a second email that again generated nothing. Given this poor customer service, I decided to report a dispute with my credit card company for the purchase. Perhaps I should not be surprised but so far this has resulted in a similar stonewalling after more than a week. I am choosing to cancel my coffee subscription for Doctor Mojo after seeing nothing but trouble on the horizon for what has been a previously reliable coffee company.
Update 11-6-25: one of the new co-owners got in touch and offered to help after seeing the one-star Google review. I am pleased with the action taken as a result and am revising my rating to 4 stars to reflect the positive response once I was on the radar with a real problem that could have been resolved much sooner if email communication had worked better.

Amazing customer service and best coffee around Raleigh hands down. I visited yesterday for the first time and purchased a new coffee roast but didn't really care for it I returned and shared my experience and the great young lady working the counter was very quick to offer a solution and offer me a bag of coffee free of charge.Highly recommended!!!

This very well might be my favorite roaster in the country now (and I've been to a couple hundred). I wish I lived in Raleigh so I could come here all the time. The vibes, mission, causes are all on point. Care and craft goes into their entire process and I was blown away. It's tucked back on a road that's in an industrial area so if you've not been, you have to go. The courtyard is peaceful. Their roasting facility is immaculate and the staff is amazing. 11/10 go check them out!
Excellent place to buy locally roasted beans and great ethical company. Lots of coffee options plus other things to buy. A small area to hang out, fresh coffee drinks available.

I found Larry’s coffee while staying at the Blockade Runner Hotel at Wrightsville beach NC. I found this to be the best coffee I’ve ever had. I never thought of myself as a coffee snob but I guess I am now. Larry’s House blend is the smoothest coffee I’ve ever had. I’m always waiting for that bitter taste after the first sip of others coffee……..with Larry’s coffee no bitter taste. I buy it through Amazon. I live in Elon, NC and Larry’s coffee is just down the road. I plan on visiting their store soon!

I have received several orders that were incorrect via mail. I am not sure if they were out of stock and tried to make a substitution or not. It does take time to write emails or drive to the store to exchange.
