This is my go-to spot for Jamaican food with a southern mix. Never disappointed and I love that they offer a snack box (meat and two sides for $10 and the stuff plenty in those little containers). The plates end up being two meals for me. Give them a try.

I ordered an oxtail dinner off of uber eats and they hardly have me any oxtails and the ones I have are all fat. The flavor was very bland. Very disappointing to spend this much on something that wasn’t worth it

Ribs were mostly bone, greens, yams & mac not bad. Wings were big, oxtails were decent, beans & rice ok, nice size portion of cornbread was good. No seating. Usually long lines/wait time. You will stand in line even of you call it in first.

This used to be my go to place for Jamaican food but not anymore. The food still tastes ok but I hate that they give out these small portions for these extremely high prices. On my last visit I spent $32.85 for an oxtail dinner and was still hungry a few hours later. In addition, they charge you one price for using cash and another price if you use your card. Businesses should not be charging their customers for their credit card machines that they need to run their business. I will not be returning.

First we have never had an issue with this location the one on Raleigh Road is another story. We have been eating at Lee’s Kitchen for years and the food is good at least what we order. But this time, as I was getting ready to warm my husband’s food(taking a portion out) up there was some type of bug crawling in between the food it almost blended in w/the collards until it came out by the curry chicken. Was trying to upload the video. I’m not one to bring anybody’s business down but this is not good. Things happens, you can’t satisfy everybody and there will be pros cons of owning a business, some situations are unavoidable but we are DONE! $37.13 down the drain(1 plate of food).

The food is really, really good and the menu has a lot of options. Its a little pricey, but not outrageous. The sanitation grade is a 98.5. If I lived closer id probably eat here 2-3 times a month, at least, because its so good and there are so many things I like on the menu.

Well they got me for $27. I went in yesterday for the first time since I was in the area. Never again! I ordered a half rack of ribs, Mac and cheese, potato salad,patty/coco bread and a soda. Sides were fine aswell as the patty, but they tried me with the ribs. They weren't completely burnt, could not even pull the ribs apart, I don't know if it was day olds meat, that they threw in the oven to reheat or what, but I'm completely disgusted nlby what I received. Then they had the nerves to dump a ton of barbecue sauce on it to camouflage the fact that it was completely scorched. I'm just done with dining or buying take out in Raleigh. I can assure I will never step foot thru your doors again.
