I went into this establishment on Saturday 3/24/24. I was the 1st customer as they unlocked the door at 12:08p. ( open at 12p)… I walked in and spoke. All eyes on me no response. lol ok. Proceeded to walk to the counter to order. The cashier was pleasant. She took my order. Oxtails white rice Mac n cheese. Collards on the side with a cheese beef patty. A smooth $35! NO PROBLEM. The PROBLEM was the oxtails were TUFF! No tenderness at ALL. Cold in the middle . What in the world.? For $35 at least it could have been edible. The Mac n cheese was good . The collards ok. No plantains were added so I could tell you how they were. Oh the she asked for my ID to pay for my order. Which was a debit card ?. Next time I’ll drive to Capital Blvd location ?

I arrived at lees kitchen at 6:45pm on a Tuesday to get some food for my mother that lives in New York and was craving some Caribbean food That’s hard to come by in North Carolina. After being recommended this place, upon arrival the door was locked. There was guest in the store, and an employee was at the front door, assuring that no one else comes in. At least 5 to 6 people were turned away. Clearly on the door and it says the store closes at 7 o’clock. this is really bad for business. This is not the first time I heard of this location doing such a thing now I’ve witnessed it for myself. This is giving poor business values This concept is built on. I’ll probably never visit this place again.

Costumer service is horrible!!!! That lady is so rude. The food is good so I’ve come multiple times and everytime her attitude suck. With me and other customers. I’ve watched her have a whole argument with a customer and she was in the wrong cause she was noticeably annoyed before the lady even asked her 1 simple question. Seem like she hate her job. This time was my last straw and I will not be returning.

Fantastic food loved the candy yams and oxtails i loved everythig and for the price you get a lot of food . The corn bread ? tasted very good reminds me of my Grandmothers . I would have to say this is definitely one of the best restaurants I have ate at since I moved down here. Keep up the good work . And shout out to the owner for her making our food we loved it . Keep that heavy ? hand with the food . See you soon

Literally just went 5 minutes ago. The nice older lightskin lady fixing the food was so pleasant. The cashier customer service was TRASH...she made me feel like I was annoying her with my questions and all around had an "I hate my job" attitude.....for $40 for the little food I did get I WONT be returning and recommend you go to the capital Blvd location.

The Food here tastes great. I had the Jerk Chicken lunch special with macaroni and cheese and collard greens with sauce all over and also Grilled Turkey leg lunch with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The food was hot, they fix it right in front of you and it tastes great. The only bad thing is they don't answer their phones so it's hard to place a phone order to be picked up. Other than that I highly recommend this restaurant.Parking: This restaurant is in a shopping center so there's only a couple spaces directly in front of the restaurant but there's plenty of other spaces in the parking lot
