Wife and I wanted to do something different for Easter Sunday that didn't involve having to wake up early for brunch. Additionally, I didn't want to venture too far from our home so we decided to go to this restaurant which was just 6 minutes away. I made a reservation for 3 pm in OpenTable. Got there at exactly 3 and asked to be seated. The seating host first directed us to the bar. That got me a little irritated because there were a lot of open tables around. I asked politely for other options and then she directed us to a table which was astonishing given right behind was an open booth. Why she didn't offer that right off the bat was just as irritating. But I pleasantly asked to be seated in the booth and they obliged. I was about to be seated I noticed that there were breadcrumbs in it. The hostess switched chairs instead of cleaning it. This alone is why I'm taking out one . Our server Caleah was a breath of fresh air. She was courteous and attentive but unobtrusive. She took our orders and they arrived promptly. The appetizer bread was bland and slightly over baked. It was dense and not fluffy at all. The olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette was tasty though. The bread is a "C". The calamari was tasty and spicy, which helped cut through the richness. I'll give it an "A". The Chianti was delicious as well. The pineapple juice was just as good. The lobster and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo was well made, generous and delicious. I'll give this an "A". My major gripe is the sirloin with Chimichuri sauce. I've had good steaks over the years and I can almost guarantee that that the cut of meat they served me was in no way a sirloin. It was full of ligaments and tough to cut and chew. The only saving grace was it was cooked perfectly, well seasoned and rested. Eating it was a jaw breaking experience. I'm giving this a "D minus". I'm docking 2 stars . The ambiance is nice and airy and felt like the interior of a nice house in Tuscany. Definitely worth dining here. So that ends up with the final tally. Two stars. I'm really hesitant to come back. But I will give this place another chance to redeem themselves.

Had reservations & when we arrived they couldn’t find it… had to show the confirmation reservation text. Service was not good. Inexperienced & young staff… was sitting at the table about 10 mins before anyone came to our table to bring us water (& no silverware) that we had to ask for both water & silverware. One of the glasses was dirty. Ordered meatball appetizer that was $13.00 for 1 medium size meatball (NOT worth it). Restaurant was not busy & the waitstaff had no personality. Had grilled chicken over a salad & the chicken was very salty. Was told the calamari was good & the veal was good as well. Will not be returning.

Leo's is located where Mia Francesca used to be--right next to the lobby in the Renaissance Hotel. Our daughter had her wedding reception here in its former life as Mia Francesca. So this spot is near and dear to us. We are happy to see the space reclaimed by another wonderful Italian restaurant like Leo's. On this night, they featured live music. The restaurant has elegant decor but still has a casual feel. Nice for date night. The food was absolutely delicious! For starters, we had the beef carpaccio, which was excellent as it was prepared the way we are accustomed. Hubby was delighted that it came with shallots and capers! Next, we had calamari, which was fried to perfection; nice large slices versus being bits and pieces. The batter was nicely seasoned, and the portion was generous. For our entrees, hubs had the chicken parm. The filet was pounded thin the way he likes; and seasoned just so (and not too much breading and not greasy) and topped with pomodoro sauce. The twist was that his pasta (herbed linguini) was topped with a creamy rich white sauce. Ooo yum! I had the lasagna, which came out piping hot. The noodles were cooked just so--tender and smothered in a rich bolonese sauce, which was house made. The bolonese sauce layered with the ricotta, mozzarella, pomodoro, and alfredo sauce combo was pure YUMMMY DELICIOUSNESS! Dessert was a gooey butter cake with a generous scoop of vanilla bean gelato and fresh strawberries. The cake was moist and sweet; which the strawberries countered quite well. And who doesn't love gelato? Yum yum yum! The service was top tier--from the hostess' warm greeting and big smile to Lexi, who was our lovely waitress. She was soft spoken, attentive and always smiling. She was superb! DINNER WAS FOLLOWED UP WITH 2 COMPLEMENTARY GLASSES OF CHAMPAGNE!! EXCELLENT WAY TO END A FANTASTIC DINNING EXPERIENCE! We found a new happy place.

This location was very nice. Service was amazing. Asked for recommendations and was not disappointed. Water stayed topped off. Food was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. Food was delicious. Would definitely come back.

Our first visit on Sunday St Patrick’s Day. The patio is dog friendly so we dined there. The bread was so delicious! We also had the wedding soup and Baked Rigatoni. Everything was great and the service was incredible. Will definitely go back and try more of the menu. Parking in that area can be challenging but wasn’t that difficult when we went.

We wanted to check out this place as we live close by. The arancini as starter was really good. This was followed by Veal Parmesan and Butternut squash ravioli. They were good but nothing that blew us away. The service was great as well.

This place is great! My partner and I took my dad yesterday for an early dinner. We all enjoyed every course. Thursday nights are $8.00 martinis. I see this becoming my regular local spot for martinis and appetizers. I recommend the carpaccio and Cauliflower apps. The service was great and everyone was very attentive. The manager even stopped by to say to hello and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The only advice I have is to the servers.. when you describe a dessert, know about the dessert and be enthusiastic. Managers I recommend a quick line up discussing the desserts and how to describe them in detail with some enthusiasm.

I usually dine at the Morrisville location and my experiences there where pleasant. My family and I went at the north hills location for the first time to celebrate my sisters birthday. I always get the crab cake appetizer which comes with 2 pieces and to my surprise when ordered there was only one piece on my plate for the same price! When I asked, the server told me that was the new portion (for the same price) who made that decision? The staff was pleasant and accommodating as we had patio seating but it was a rainy cold evening and they were able to move us indoors….

Ambiance is great. Service and workers were accommodating and very nice. Food needs some more flavor and I wish the appetizer came with more than 1 meatball for $13. Will give it another chance down the road though.

Excellent first experience! Caleah was the perfect server; we will ask to be in her section again. Arancini, chicken parm, and the honey pepperoni pizza were all great, as was the pear cucumber cocktail. The bar manager could not have been nicer. We’ll be back and we will be bringing more people with us.

Great ambiance, food, and service! Everything was wonderful. Took the parents and inlaws there and my dad who rarely gives any restaurant praise gave this one many compliments. The little lamps in the middle of the table are nice, our server was available but not overbearing, the taste of the food was great, etc. Only constructive feedback is that the smoke on the smoked old fashioned was very strong and very artificial tasting. Everything else was superb though!!

Food was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. I went on a Thursday night and they had a live acoustic music set and martinis on special. For upscale Italian food the prices are AWESOME. Definitely a new “must try” at north hills!
