The finest, freshest seafood from our coast. These people REALLY care about what they provide. It happens to be soft shell season right now and I cannot tell you how good they are - they are exceptional.All of their seafood is pristine and all of their staff friendly, knowledgeable and courteous.For North Carolina seafood, Local's is absolutely the best.

Purchased what I had purchased in the past. Dry scallops, not wet scallops which was what I got. You can't pan sear a wet scallop. Ruined a fine risotto with roasted red pepper and orange & lemon zest.Can't call to complain because lack of staff leaves them with no one to answer the phone. Was advised to come visit the location with concerns. BLEEP!!! I'm supposed to drive 40 miles each way and burn $15 of gas to tell them that they sold me inferior product.The positive outcome was that the raccoons seemed to enjoy the meal immensely.Needless to say I won't be going back.

We have subscribed to the weekly program for a couple of years now. We receive seasonal , locally caught seafood. We love it. I love the freshness, the seasonality and the great service every week when I pick up my fish on Thursdays. I love chatting with the gentleman on different kinds of seafood they got that week, cultural meaning of different fish, favorite parts of fish from other parts of the world. I'm proud to support the Local seafood!

Wow Wow Wow…I had a Low Country Boil Party setup for Sunday and the oysters that I ordered from Locals Seafood was the hit. They were there waiting on me just as Brendon arranged. For your next seafood event make sure you order from Locals Seafood at the Raleigh Farmers Market. You won't be disappointed !!!

I have a house Down East and enjoy the freshest seafood imaginable there but my primary residence is in Raleigh. I have been searching for comparable quality here and can state after several years of experience with them that Locals is the best in the Triangle. They don't sell it if it isn't fresh and your nose will confirm that. Sure they cost more but it is worth it if you value the freshest fish and their commitment to sustainable NC fishery.
