I’ve been going to Los Tres Vaqueros since it was Los Tres Magueyes. Unfortunately i can’t say it is the same as it once was. The prices have almost tripled, and as of today, i won’t go back. After spending almost $60 for 2 meals last week, my son wanted to eat there again today. I decided to stop & physically place our to-go order at the restaurant.
I got the same 2 meals we received last week. However today when we received our food, my son’s order was made incorrectly, and mine was not worth the price— the amount of food was considerably less than the value. We also ordered queso & the container was less than half filled.
I noticed that for 5:30 on a Friday, they weren’t busy at all, which tells me that this place has gone downhill, or the inconsistency and higher prices with smaller portions has affected former patrons of this once INCREDIBLE restaurant. I’ll drive the extra 10 minutes to El Rodeo, i will not be back!

Service was great, food was excellent (I got Vegetarian combo 4, tres leches cake, and mango agua fresca). I love the decorations and will certainly be back.
This place never disappoints. The food and service are always great! One of the best affordable Mexican places in the area.

I have loved this restaurant for 20 years, and it is still so delicious! Food is great (and better quality than other affordable Mexican places), service is quick and friendly, plus they have a fun colorful atmosphere with cheerful music. No complaints ever!
I had not been in a couple of years and it’s still great. Good food at a reasonable price, cute and bright decor. I took a family member who has mobility issues and we parked right in front of the door. We’ll be back soon.

My family has been going here for years, back before I had kids even. The people here are great, and the food is always good. It's your standard fare, nothing fancy, just executed well. I will say, they have my favorite chips in the triangle.

We get lunch for our staff frequently. Always a wonderful experience. A solid place to get a great lunch. Their steak tacos are awesome.

Unfortunately some of what they say on the comments here is true.The food is pricey and the amount of food you get is like 1/3 of what you would get usually from a Mexican restaurant.They do charge 3% for credit card usage and the gratuity they suggest on the check is not accurate. What they suggest is about 2 dollars off, for more of course ?To me this just seems like a dishonest business trying to nickel and dime people.

Some of the worst 'Mexican' food I've ever had. I had to throw the rest away cause nobody at the house would eat it. TERRIBLE.
