I ordered a custom Minnie mouse cake from Lyla Jones cake studios a week before my daughter's 4th birthday. I was so grateful they could fit me in since it was short notice. The cake came out so beautiful. My daughter loved the cake and couldn't take her eyes off the cake. We got so many compliments on the cake. The cake was very moist and delicious.I want to give a special shout out to Shawn ( I hope I'm spelling his name right). He was so sweet and help guide us with removing the Minnie off the top of the cake over the phone. He also gave us special instructions on how to cut the cake. I really appreciate all your help. I also appreciate the communication. Thank you for making my daughter's birthday extra special. I will definitely reach out to you all in the future.

So every year I throw my husband a Halloween birthday party. This year I went and ordered a custom cake. And can I just tell you it did not disappoint!!! The cake itself was amazing looking, tasted delicious, and was one of the first things to go at the party. Not only that but they were extremely easy to work with. I had to go through FB since I was deployed at the time to set it up. They were extremely helpful and got back to me almost immediately. Lyla Jones does a great job with customizing your order for your need. A little hard to get started with orders being over google forms but the rest of the service is amazing! All the way to pick, they are super responsive and easy. The cake doesn't just look good like most fondant cakes...it tastes amazing too!! I ordered 2 cakes for my son’s birthday from Lyla Jones. One is Lion king themed cake and other is Tom and Jerry themed cake. Both turned out to be extraordinary and delicious. Can’t praise enough the efforts the cake artists put in. Their cake artists are super talented and kudos to their clarity in getting the description and creating exactly what the customer wants. If you want a custom cake that is perfect in appearance and in taste then you found your spot. Lyla Jones Cake Studio did an excellent job on my custom cake it was the center piece of party. All the fine details and the colors were perfect. I truly believe no one could have done any better. The characters were all hand made to the exact specifications that were asked. Not only that but after everybody had there share piece of the cake the characters were able to be kept and stored for a memory that will last a life time. I dont see myself getting a cake from anywhere else other than Lyla Jones Cake Studio. 10 out of 10

As soon as I took my first bite, I was blown away by the delectable flavors that danced on my taste buds. The cake was moist and perfectly balanced, and the frosting was a heavenly delight. I stumbled upon this store on accident one day and was floored by a Disney “Ratatouille” cake in the window they had created.. from then I knew I had the perfect idea to get Lyla Jones Cake Studios to create whatever vision I could come up with for a future birthday surprise party.Lyla Jones’s Cake Studio didn’t disappoint. In fact they exceeded my expectations. Planning for this event took time and I had so many ideas I was trying to put together .. I think I would have driven anyone mad.. but they were patient in helping me see my vision come to life in the form of cake!They even had someone call me to help ease my nerves about how good they were and how floored myself, the recipient and guests would be and again .. they didn’t disappoint.The birthday girls’ first reply was,“Holy @%#*!” Followed by nothing but singular “Wow’s!”, for a little while.Once everyone stopped commenting on how amazing the cake was after its unveiling .. it was time to actually serve this work of art and let me tell you it was so beautiful no one wanted to even cut into it!Once we finally settled on the least damaging spot to cut into and yet preserve it as long as possible .. the next comments after moments of a semi silence, as all that was audible was the licking of fingers and forks and the smacking lips for a few minutes… was just how delicious this cake was. Some exclaimed how moist it was while others added in about the buttercream chocolate frosting being so rich and creamy. I had also selected that the cake be layered chocolate and vanilla cake to suit everyone’s palate and even that garnered a comment as to how the two flavors were distinctive but perfectly fit so u didn’t just have a cake that appeared to look like vanilla and chocolate it literally tasted the way it’s looks promised.It has now been over a week and we are finally down to just a tad bit of cake left over and we are sad to see it gone..At this point no grocery store or homemade cake will ever measure up to this incredible work of art .. and I hope to have another occasion to warrant getting another creation going sooner than later.. but I intend to keep tabs on Lyla Jones’s Bakery for any excuse for me to replicate this experience again!Naturally, something as extravagant, detailed and awesome is going to cost more than your average grocery store sheet cake .. but it’s beyond worth it.. the attention to detail… the artistry, time and clearly love put into their work makes each masterpiece they put out priceless .. but since they have to put a price tag I can honestly say it’s affordable and worth every penny for your cake to end up stealing the spotlight from any type of event thrown.Outside of the rave reviews of the cake itself they are a group of bottomless talent, customer service oriented, helpful, friendly folks from the start to even the delivery/setup person at the end ..Thank you all for helping me make the most memorable birthday party ever!
