Madame B’s Bakery

I ordered the “strawberry shortcake” and was sent a cup of vanilla wafers covered in whipped cream and a disgusting strawberry jelly. The website picture does not match what I received. The cake I purchased was equivalent to chocolate cornbread. If you’re looking for a delicious dessert, I would avoid this bakery.

Super disappointed. Asked clearly if anything had tree nuts in it as I am allergic and the girl said she didn’t really know, claimed most shouldn’t have whole nuts but “maybe almond extract or something”. Was not willing to risk anything at that point. Super sad she did not know what was in the actual baked goods or didn’t have an allergen menu. Everything looked great, but didn’t get to try. :( people with allergies beware.

Low quality cheap tasting cake. 11 bucks for poor quality. Dry, & frosting tasted bad.

Cake slices are delicious! Not as much there as I thought there would be given the size of the store but the banana cake slice I had was delicious and they had alot of cake slices.

I was going to drive there to try the products because I saw it on ticktock…….. I called first to try to help the business with service but the way they hung up the phone saying we don’t have time for this very rudely if this is how business is conducted I would rather drive 2 hrs to someone else and give my money and time! I don’t have time for that and it’s crazy how we as a culture never realize who we may be talking to over the phone or in person and I support all small to medium businesses but you know people are people you miss out on blessings thinking rude behavior is going to get you far in life or business.

So I have just recently moved to the area and just so happened to stumble upon this place. First let me say I love sweets and my cake was delicious. I got the banana pudding cake. However, customer service was definitely lacking. The person behind the counter half spoke (if she spoke at all) when I entered the building. I asked her the type of cake that was on the shelf and she replied “the cakes are labeled” now mind you even without my master’s degree I am literate and well versed. So after standing there for a moment the lady managed to peel herself from her chair and come over to the cake display and say “the cakes are in the wrong place”. Hence why they were not labeled, and I had to question the flavor. ANYWAY, after deciding what I wanted, I proceeded to checkout. She then questioned how I heard about the place and asked that I leave a review, so here we are. The cake was delicious, the customer service was subpar. Based off of that alone I may not revisit. We will see how the Lord directs my path in the future.

I just want to say that Madame B's has delicious cakes. I tried the store ones from Buddy's cakes cause he is famous on tv and I love watching his show. To me Madame B's cakes got those beat. You go on Madame

Not the worst but not the best, I’ve definitely had better box cake, for this to be specialty gourmet bakery I had higher expectations. We ordered slices of Red Velvet was okay, Honey Bun was okay, but Yellow Chocolate which was the best and heavy on the icing. Banana Pudding was edible but very basic at best. Strawberry crunch cupcake very rich and moist but the icing was overwhelming. The young lady who serviced us wasn’t rude but not welcoming either. Overall we spent $55, happy to support local business but would not return.
