Hiding under the Hudson building, I came upon Manhattan Cafe by accident, but the popularity of this packed breakfast and lunch cafe is no accident. Everything is made daily and with orders. Donuts, paninis, hand tossed salad, even daily soup. You get your picks to fuel yourself for the busy working days.
I had never been here before, but I had the best philly cheesesteak since living in the triangle area (Friday is their philly special). Service was great, everyone was very nice, music and deco were a throwback to the 90s. They have a great sandwich / soup menu and a good-looking salad bar. I am totally going to come back.
I came at 12:00pm, and there were no customers; but within 5 minutes, the place was packed, so keep that in mind when going for lunch. There is free 2-hour parking right across the street.

Food was incredibly fresh and so flavorful! Friendly cheerful service and atmosphere. Definitely going to return!!
My husband and I got a pick 2 ( half wrap and cup of soup) I had chicken salad...soo good and my husband had the chicken Thai wrap which he loved. The soup was delicious! The service was super friendly, helpful, and quick...even when they were very busy . We loved the atmosphere. We will definitely come again when in Raleigh!
Went in today to get my $5 off birthday bonus and it sucked. Had the Ruben the meat was tough as shoe leather was like chewing on rubber. What a waste. One of the mangers gave me a fist bump and said welcome in haven’t seen you in a while. I use to go in often and the food was always great. Not today.
Every time I come here I am greeted with a smile and my annoying questions are always answered as if I couldn’t read the menu right in front of me lol. 10/10 love this place!!!
A great lunch spot - deli that is fast, friendly and high quality food. Recommend caesar salad with cajun chicken! The best. . .
I love the salad bar here. They have a good assortment of protein choices for your salad and a wide variety of add ins for your veggies. I love that they have blue cheese and the sesame ginger dressing is delicious. My co worker absolutely loves the steak and cheese panini.

LOVE manhattan cafe, especially the buffalo chicken wrap! I wish they were open on the weekend, because that's when I'd most go there, but when I have a chance to make it downtown during my WFH day, I head that way.
One word delicious.
I love the salad bar at Manhattan - you can get a lot of toppings and it’s a good sized salad. Manhattan is usually quite busy at lunchtime during the week but they get people through the line very quickly.

Interesting, not in a bad way, vibes. Only had a BLT was pretty good. They're hard to mess up. Salad bar looked really good. Looks like a specifically lunch time spot.
