We went for a Saturday lunch. The service was superb. So helpful and accommodating. We shared a Navraton Korma and Malai Kofta. Both were so delicious! We even had a little bit to take home for a second meal.

My first time in Raleigh and decided to give Masala House a try. Ordered garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and Shahi paneer. Right off the bat both dishes look the same (specifically asked the guy if they were the same) but they tasted slight diff., they could have recommended a different paneer dish.
Anyways, I dived right in, naan was perfect, not too soft not too crispy, it was def thinner than usual 4/5.
Paneer was good, very flavorful. As for spiciness, I asked for medium hot, the guy said it was spicy and hot would be unbearable but it turns out that medium is completely bland. But taste was still good. 4/5.
Coming to chicken, it was awful. The chicken pieces were perfect squares and chicken was very rubbery. Never have I eaten Chicken tikka masala and found chicken pieces to be small square cubes. Usually they r cooked in tandoor and then cooked in gravy. Some chicken pieces were soft, some were hard, it def didn’t feel fresh. Very disappointed with a dish that no Indian restaurant should mess up, 1/5.
Finally, I had specifically asked for plates n disposable cutley sets but they forgot to give either. So here I am in my hotel room, struggling to eat it.
I may be new to Raleigh but I am not new to Indian food. Very disappointed with this place. If someone is ordering some dishes, maybe recommend if they maybe alike. Every restaurant cooks these dishes differently.
Will I come back here again, not sure.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Masala House, and we must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, The server Ashish impressed us with his professionalism and warm hospitality. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations to enhance our meal.
The food itself was phenomenal. The chef, clearly a master of his craft, delivered dishes bursting with authentic flavors and perfect presentation. It’s rare to see such dedication and precision, and we truly appreciate the effort they put into making every guest feel special.
Masala House is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional service and outstanding cuisine. This place has set the bar high, and we can’t wait to visit again!

The food and service is great; it is a pleasant experience every visit. My favorites are Gobi Manchurian and Malai Kofta, and Samosa Chaat is also very tasty.

I've dined in several times since opening and also ordered takeout. Service is excellent - generous and quick; food is delicious and the dine-in atmosphere is exceptional. My favorite things to order are pistachio chicken korma, chili paneer, navratna veggie korma and the amazing onion chutney served complimentary at the beginning of the meal. The weekday lunch deal is an amazing value - soup, naan, entree, rice + dessert for a great price. Masala House is a welcome addition to the North Raleigh food scene.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free and veggie/vegan options!
Parking: Tons of parking
Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved it, many items can be made mild.

I've dined in person at Masala House 3 times now and gotten take out once. I can confidently state that the food and service here are unmatched. From the moment you walk in, you recognize the difference this team of hosts and servers provides you as a customer. The atmosphere of calming music and warm wood grain usher you into an experience reminiscent of a spa.
The food here is just incredible. Delicate pappadum and onion chutney start off every meal. The tenderness of the meat and freshness of the vegetables show off a focus on the quality of every ingredient. The depth of flavor are immediately apparent with their korma offerings being particularly special and delicious.
Every time we eat here we have been greeted and asked for feedback on how the experience could be approved. This always leaves me speechless because I cannot think of a single way I would.
I highly recommend Masala House especially to those already familiar with the incredible food at their sister restaurant Bombay Curry!

Masala is "Superb!" My favorite place in Raleigh NC for Indian cuisine. The staff greets me with a warm welcome each time I visit. Fortunately, I visit when it is not the peak hours, so I am escorted to my favorite seat in the dining room. They have mixed drinks and cocktails to offer as well. My favorite dish is the lamb biryani. Please stop in soon. Let them know Chef Forte recommended you.

Delicious! And gluten free! Definitely recommend. The mango jalfrezie was superb, as was the vegetable biryani. So much so that I forgot to take a picture lol. We also tried the fried chicken appetizer and it was delicious, too. Everything I've mentioned is all gluten and dairy free on top of being delicious. No gluten free naan but that's a hard ask.
Dietary restrictions: A lot of gluten free options! Dairy free options, as well.

LOVE IT!!!!! Everything we've had from here is wonderful! My husband is notoriously picky and hates to try new things but after my nagging, he tried it and this is now in our rotation of favorite date night spots. The food is fabulous, the service equally so.
