I’ve never had such an unprofessional experience at a restaurant in Raleigh. I placed an online order and arrived to an empty front desk. After 4 minutes of waiting, I moved to the bar—still no one. I eventually had to walk toward the kitchen just to find someone.
A staff member named Raj didn't even greet me; he just looked at me and snapped, “Go have a seat.” When he finally realized I was there for a pickup, he didn't apologize—he just shook a bag at me and pointed to the door.
When I called later to speak to a manager, I was given the run-around, only to realize I was speaking to Raj again. If this is how they treat paying customers, they don't deserve the support of this community. I won't be back.

I ordered delivery from Masala House recently and it was fantastic. Easily the best Palak Paneer I've had in years.

I plan to visit in person soon!

I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant due to the server’s behavior. My order was incorrect, and when I politely tried to explain that I received the wrong item, the server started shouting at me saying that I ordered it that way on the call. Even if that were the case, I was being charged for something I didn’t order. Instead of resolving the issue calmly, the server continued to argue and used very rude language. I was speaking politely the entire time, but the situation escalated unnecessarily. I felt very disrespected and uncomfortable, so I decided to leave the restaurant. This kind of behavior toward customers is unacceptable.

It was our first time there and overall they did a good job with the remodeling. However, they sat us on the other side of a busing station in the center of the main seating area, which had to-go containers and other things stacked on top. For cosmetic reasons it would be best to surround it with partitions or move it to another space. Fortunately, I'm really quibbling on that because once I started eating their delicious food I barely noticed it. It was among the best Indian food I've ever tasted! And the prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants, who seem to have followed the trend of blowing you out with sticker shock. While attentive, some of their wait staff might need a little more polish and eye contact, but perhaps the latter is a cultural thing I'm unaware of. In the grand scheme these things won't get in the way of my return. Delicious, unique food and beverages at a reasonable cost. You can't miss!

Our first time eating Indian food & it was fabulous. We're adding it to our list of restaurants for dining out.

I’ve visited this restaurant several times and usually enjoy the food, but my recent experience was disappointing. During our visit, our server was chewing on a lollipop while taking orders and serving food. It felt unprofessional and honestly a bit uncomfortable to watch.
When dining out, customers expect a certain level of cleanliness and professionalism. Seeing a server eating candy while handling food and interacting with guests gave the impression that standards may not be taken seriously. It also made communication slightly awkward.
The food itself was good, but service is a big part of the overall experience.

Came here for lunch today for the first time. Really great vegan options. Fast service and nice place overall. Food is amazing and will definitely be coming back. One of the best Indian places I’ve been to in Raleigh. Food was good and spicy even though I ordered it hot they gave me medium but it was still spicy although I still would have preferred it hot like I ordered. I understand though I don’t look like I can handle spicy but I love it firey hot. The vegetable vindaloo is definitely a win!
