Moti and Rupak (sp?) were both helpful and cordial during a stressful situation where their power went out during dinner rush. Not only were they communicative with me while I was trying to pick up an online order, I witnessed how gracefully they managed the rest of the dining room with absolutely no power. They have customers for life with me and my family.
Having lived in raleigh for 20 plus years and never eaten here is sad but easily corrected. I am a fan of butter chicken which is my goto for any Indian restaurant. Masala house is my new favorite.
We took 3 generations to dinner, 5 in total and we're ordering food to take home as leftovers. Everyone loved it. Nice place.

Good food and nice place.
Service needs improvement as most of the time staff are busy talking to each other than focusing on the customers in the restaurant

Delicious food! I was on my lunch break so I tried something light and simple, the Chicken Mo-Mo. I loved it! Great flavor, it was cooked perfectly! I can't wait to try other menu items.

Absolutely best Indian food in the area. Attractively served, ample portions, and exquisite tastes. Lunch combination plates can't be beat.

Amazing Family Dining Experience at Masala House!
I recently visited Masala House in Raleigh with my family, and we had a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
The food was absolutely delicious — a perfect blend of authentic Indian and Nepali flavors.

Wow, amazing taste and affordable Indian. The lunch special is enough for two meals and it comes with choice of naan and dessert. The Best Indian I’ve experienced in Raleigh.

The food is absolutely delicious, with flavors that transport you straight to India. Even when you drive by the restaurant and roll down your window, you would smell the delicious food. What impresses me most is the quality of the food at prices that are incredibly reasonable compared to other places. The value for money is exceptional.
The staff is enthusiastic, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they're proud to serve such amazing food. Their warm hospitality makes you feel right at home.
It's clear that this restaurant is popular for takeout, too - I noticed a lot of orders being picked up and delivered. But don't let that deter you from dining in; the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.
If you're a fan of authentic Indian cuisine, look no further. This place is a must-try, and I'm already planning my next visit!

Wonderful little gem tucked away in North Hills. We got take away Chicken Vindaloo, which is often harder to find than its lamb cousin. So good! Love the level of ‘Mild plus’ as a spice option. The mo mos are some of the best we’ve had in the area! Don’t sleep on the chicken wings - the spiced fry on these with the yogurt dip is phenomenal. We may have just found our new regular Indian spot! Can’t wait to dine in sometime soon!

Seems like papad here is handed out based on mood swings, not hospitality. Every other table got their complimentary papad, but ours was skipped. It felt unfair and unwelcoming, almost like we were being treated differently for no reason. Maybe we missed the secret handshake? The food itself was fine, but it’s hard to enjoy a meal when you start off feeling like the odd ones out. If fairness isn’t on the menu, neither are we in the future. Attaching the check if by any chance owner happens to read this post to understand which table we were on. I still tipped cause some people run their lives based on tips and didn’t want to be a barrier over complimentary papad. However, not going back.
