The food wasn't that great but the service was excellent! The fish was cooked too soft and oily. Had to send the salmon(oily) back and got the flounder(too soft, not crispy). I only enjoyed the hush puppies. My baked potato was dry and overcooked, butter couldn't even save it.
My son and I eat at the Raleigh Mayflower seafood at least once a month on Fridays. We’re from Durham and we like the seafood there. We usually get the seafood combinations. Flounder and whitefish is delicious and hot! The jumbo shrimp is good. Seafood isn’t good re-heated. So eat your food inside. The baked potatoes are hot and well cooked. I like the slaw. We get a decent tossed salad with red onions, cucumber, grape tomatoes, cheese and bacon bits. Iceberg lettuce is ok....
The Alaskan skinless flounder taste like trout. The baby flounder is a good tasting product, but the pieces are small. The grouper taste somewhat like grouper or paciffic cod, so I do like that. The small shrimp and large shrimp are both good.
A side of Alaskan sno crab legs is available with an entrée. They are great, but I really don't need butter or seasoning on the legs themself, and the buttery...
