I had a meeting at the McKimmon Center. During a break, I visited the cafe. I walked up to the register, nobody was there, so I said Hello, and a lady sitting at a table on the phone and eating a bag of potato chips screamed back you don't have to yell. She walked behind the counter, continuing to talk on the phone, literally just said, "What do you want?" I ordered a coffee. In the meantime, she continued to talk on the phone and never washed her hands. She exchanged money with me, made my coffee with one hand (she was still on the phone) and never said thank you. Instead (still having not having washed her hands and talking on the phone) just put the drink on the counter and walked into the seating area where she was eating potato chips. So sorry I interrupted her day. She is the example of why State employees are called lazy.
