Lots of vegan options! We had the Vegetarian Combo and the Shiro With Gommen and both were amazing. The Mix Juice and Ginger Tea were also really good.
Horrible experience since they changed management. We’ve come there and have been disrespected every time. We used to come here years ago when it was Abyssinia Ethiopia and now they are Naftok and are horrible. They act like they don’t like black people. We bought Injera bread that was bad and they would not exchange it for good bread. The owner was so rude and nasty toward me a black woman. It almost seems as if they treat black women the worse. Please don’t patronize this place. Run!
My favorite ethiopian restaurant in the triangle area!!

The major issue I had with this place was just cost for service and food it was over $70 for an appetizer a beer a drink and two entrees I don't have a problem paying for something that's good and well worth it but for the cost of the food and service I received I just don't think it was a fair number

The food is really tasty and has great flavor. It was seasoned perfectly. Our server did a great job and was on top of everything we needed. I'm looking forward to coming back again.
Kid-friendliness: Kids seem to really enjoy eating here. There kids in the dining room and seemed to be enjoying the food.

Nafkot Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar offers an authentic Ethiopian dining experience but falls short of expectations based on the hype. I visited on a Wednesday evening for dinner and found the ambiance to be one of its stronger points. The interior is beautifully decorated with Ethiopian art and cultural pieces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location, while a bit far from the city center, provides a calm and quiet dining environment. There’s ample parking space, which is convenient.
In terms of food, the variety of Ethiopian dishes on the menu is commendable. However, the food itself was just okay – nothing particularly special to justify the high praise it seems to receive. The portions were reasonable, but the lack of pricing on the menu made it difficult to gauge the cost upfront.
The biggest downside was the service. The waiter, though polite, was often busy with other tasks, leaving us stranded for long periods. This negatively impacted the overall experience. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all, which made the slow service even more disappointing. While the ambiance was relaxing, it didn’t compensate for the lackluster service.
The restaurant offers an atmospheric dining experience with a wide selection of Ethiopian dishes. However, the mediocre food and subpar service detract from the overall experience. It might be worth a visit if you're in the mood for a quiet evening out and Ethiopian cuisine, but manage your expectations when it comes to service.
