This was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine, and it was such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and I’m so glad I gave it a try. There were plenty of vegetarian options to choose from, which I really appreciated. I started with the lentil sambosa appetizer, and it was phenomenal—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. We had a great meal at Nafkot Ethiopian Restaurant & Bar. The food was truly the star of the show and tasted fantastic. The service was also very good. However, the atmosphere was a bit underwhelming and the bathrooms could use some attention. Overall, it's a solid choice for a delicious meal, but don't expect a fancy vibe.
Service was very slow, well over an hour and it wasn't even that crowded. Didn't receive any updates about why our food was taking long. I really enjoy Ethiopian food, and I enjoy the experience, and the food at this restaurant was pretty good but very small quantities for the price. Adding an extra chicken leg or something like that wouldn't be hard to do. Adding a combo plate would be great as well, for samples different things.
