I've been a loyal customer of Nancys for at least 10 years. I always order the godfather sandwich. Recently they "changed the bread from a sub/hoagie roll to a much smaller thinner bread of a different consistency, maybe a ciabatta? This substantially reduces the size if the sandwich by at least a third. And yet. The price is still the same. I understand capitalism and corporate greed but it's just sad to see how the undercutting of quality amd quantity that is synonymous with the likes of mcdonalds or Wendy's is now pervading what used to be considered "more upscale" restaurants. It's shameful how accepted this practice is .

I just sat about 10ish min at the bar and the bar was dirty and not cleaned off during that time nor did I get served. I told my friend to meet me somewhere else after waiting. Can’t comment on the food but was hoping to try it.

Good pizza, I think just the plain cheese deep dish is the best. The smaller pizza sizes have too much crust for me, I like the medium size to split.

Stuffed crust was good but thin was much better. Food coming out and service was very very slow. Had to ask a different waitress for refills and waited for check. Not planning on coming back

Heard great things about Nancy’s food. Unfortunately I can’t confirm. We went in at 3:35 right as they opened. We ordered right away. Got our drinks. Over 40 mins. past and no one checked on us, updated us on our two personal pizzas, etc. We went to the counter to pay for the soft drinks and let them know we were leaving because we’d waited so long, but no one came, so we just left. Very disappointed because we’ve heard great things about the food!

I am from Chicago. This location is a franchise. They never put the top crust on over the filling which is what makes it stuffed. Check out menu and the mIn Chicago home site to see how its supposed to be made. No wonder the reviews aren't that good. Just had a chicago italian beef delivered. No giardinera or peppers, beef so so. Wrong kind of roll. I give up.
How have I not ever stopped in here before!?!? Now our new favorite pizza place! Great people, amazing pizza, cold beer, and one of the best old fashioned cocktails we have ever had! Thanks Nick!!!

Only our second time here, we knew to the area. Had friends in from out of town though we would go here because first visit was great. Upon arrival I asked for a booth. The young man said all the booths were dirty and would have to be cleaned. I said we could wait. He said they were dirty and had to be clean. He said I can see you in the bar area at a table top. It upset me because every time I looked over there at the booths there were two that were clean. Don’t like being lied to. The food was good and our server was good. Just wasn’t the evening. We were hoping for sitting in a booth quietly with our friends. We visited on Saturday night around 6 pm
