I forgot my scarf at this restaurant… called the next day and an employee said yes they saw and had my scarf…when I got to the restaurant they couldn’t find my scarf and were very rude about it….Never again!

We chose Neomonde as the caterer for our daughter’s wedding in October of ‘24. I can’t say enough good things about the food and the service. Saida Z. was so helpful when we’re choosing the dishes and made great suggestions. The beef and lamb shawarma and the pomegranate salad were my favorites, but all of the dishes were delicious. Saida and her assistant arrived extra early to make sure they had plenty of time to set up and arranged everything so beautifully. They served the guests very well and many people complimented us on the food and service. They also provided 2 special plates for guests who have serious food allergies. At the wedding we had both a bride’s cake and a groom’s cake, which Saida graciously helped us with cutting and serving. Neomonde does provide plates at catering events, of course, but I wanted to use the glass plates that my mother had bought for our wedding 37 years ago. I asked that they just stack the dishes for me to take home and wash, but they went the extra mile and washed them for me!

The gentleman behind the counter was amazing. We have never been here before and he helped guide me through the menus which made ordering easy. The food was so delicious I can’t wait to come back. I ordered the chicken swarma which was so so good!!

This review is about the Neomonde pop-up at the NC State Fair. I've been going to the Neomonde restaurant in Raleigh for over a decade and they're always excellent. But their booth at the state fair this year was bad enough that I wanted to warn people away from it. Not sure if it was the day I went or not, I was there on the last Friday, maybe they were just all burned out. I got the "same" combo I always get, the beef shwarma. It was a wrap instead of a pita and the bread was stale and dry. The meat was under seasoned and gristly to the point I had to keep spitting it out and finally gave up and threw the other half in the trash. The service was curt to the point of rudeness. If this was meant to help introduce people to the restaurant it is failing dramatically. I grew up near Dearborn Michigan so I know good middle eastern food, I go back several times a year and there's no one better at it. Normally I'd give these guys a solid 4 out of 5 compared to the 5 star restaurants in Dearborn. This was a 1. Just wretched. Avoid them at the fair; but give their restaurant a try.

After my wife, who used to live in Raleigh, told me how good the food was; I was eager to try this place out. Servers were bored and inattentive, food was mediocre. One and done.

This is a review for the Neomonde Mediterranean stall at the state fair. I ordered a beef kabob and it was not good at all. Super tough, tasteless, just bad. The garlic sauce was great but it couldn’t save it. I just get so mad when I spend so much money ($18 for a single kabob and fries!) and it’s not even halfway decent.

Take note. Deli style ordering as you walk in. Then they bring your food to your table.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the Triangle. The jalapeno cilantro hummus is incredible. You can buy it by the quart!

We dined here last Wednesday (October 9). The food was very good and the service was decent as well. But, while eating indoors on the bench against the back wall, a small mouse climbed up from between the cushions and ran along the bench. We let the staff know but they did not apologize to us. They also saw the mouse and tried to grab it and kill it. Obviously this tainted our experience and makes it difficult for us to recommend.

Food was excellent. There are a lot of items that are new to me, but what I had was delicious and filling. One meal is enough to have leftovers. I cleaned my plate because it was delicious but I ate way too much.

I definitely say go to the one closer to Morrisville. The other night this is my first time going to this one in Raleigh. This was not a bad experience. It's just that in comparison to the one in Morrisville I was not pleased. But I honestly think I was just being more critical because the one in Morrisville or closer to Morrisville has set the bar for what my expectation is of a Neomonde. The dessert options are also different between the locations and yeah I probably won't return to this one in Raleigh. It is convenient because I live in Raleigh but I'll just take the drive out to the other one.

Possibly my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. Everything they serve is so good. My favorites are the salmon kabobs, butternut squash and chickpea salad, and the orange beets salad. Of course, I can't leave without getting baklava too. You can see most of the food in the cases before you order but if you have questions about ingredients they're happy to answer and never make you feel rushed. I could go on about this place all day. I've never gone with anyone who didn't have a great experience. The atmosphere is definitely casual, seat yourself, etc., but you'll see people on dates, families with young kids, etc. If you're reading this because you're thinking about dining here, there's no need to read more - just go order!

Vegetarian options: Very easy for vegetarians and vegans to eat here!

Dietary restrictions: Easy to ask about ingredients in the food. They have lots of non dairy options and they have gluten free bread. They do serve a lot of items with nuts though.

Parking: They have their own lot but it does get crowded. I've never not found a spot though.

Kid-friendliness: I don't think they have "kids meals" but there are always kids there.
