This Mediterranean diner/deli is a wonderful place for either take out or eat in. I thought my GPS was having a stroke getting there but decided to trust the directions and drove right to it. The food was cafeteria style and fabulous with great vegetarian choices as well as tasty meat options. Both high and low tables with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Food is always delicious. People are friendly and you can even shop for some food items while there. Pita bread and hummus are a must.
Always an amazing place
Terrible chicken shawarma
I just love the food. The carrot and red quinoa salad was crunchy and a bit sweet with a little kick to it. Kind of addictive.
I forgot my scarf at this restaurant… called the next day and an employee said yes they saw and had my scarf…when I got to the restaurant they couldn’t find my scarf and were very rude about it….Never again!
We chose Neomonde as the caterer for our daughter’s wedding in October of ‘24. I can’t say enough good things about the food and the service. Saida Z. was so helpful when we’re choosing the dishes and made great suggestions. The beef and lamb shawarma and the pomegranate salad were my favorites, but all of the dishes were delicious. Saida and her assistant arrived extra early to make sure they had plenty of time to set up and arranged everything so beautifully. They served the guests very well and many people complimented us on the food and service. They also provided 2 special plates for guests who have serious food allergies. At the wedding we had both a bride’s cake and a groom’s cake, which Saida graciously helped us with cutting and serving. Neomonde does provide plates at catering events, of course, but I wanted to use the glass plates that my mother had bought for our wedding 37 years ago. I asked that they just stack the dishes for me to take home and wash, but they went the extra mile and washed them for me!

Had the food at the Fair! Top notch
The gentleman behind the counter was amazing. We have never been here before and he helped guide me through the menus which made ordering easy. The food was so delicious I can’t wait to come back. I ordered the chicken swarma which was so so good!!

This review is about the Neomonde pop-up at the NC State Fair. I've been going to the Neomonde restaurant in Raleigh for over a decade and they're always excellent. But their booth at the state fair this year was bad enough that I wanted to warn people away from it. Not sure if it was the day I went or not, I was there on the last Friday, maybe they were just all burned out. I got the "same" combo I always get, the beef shwarma. It was a wrap instead of a pita and the bread was stale and dry. The meat was under seasoned and gristly to the point I had to keep spitting it out and finally gave up and threw the other half in the trash. The service was curt to the point of rudeness. If this was meant to help introduce people to the restaurant it is failing dramatically. I grew up near Dearborn Michigan so I know good middle eastern food, I go back several times a year and there's no one better at it. Normally I'd give these guys a solid 4 out of 5 compared to the 5 star restaurants in Dearborn. This was a 1. Just wretched. Avoid them at the fair; but give their restaurant a try.

After my wife, who used to live in Raleigh, told me how good the food was; I was eager to try this place out. Servers were bored and inattentive, food was mediocre. One and done.

This is a review for the Neomonde Mediterranean stall at the state fair. I ordered a beef kabob and it was not good at all. Super tough, tasteless, just bad. The garlic sauce was great but it couldn’t save it. I just get so mad when I spend so much money ($18 for a single kabob and fries!) and it’s not even halfway decent.

Take note. Deli style ordering as you walk in. Then they bring your food to your table.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the Triangle. The jalapeno cilantro hummus is incredible. You can buy it by the quart!
