Now the drinks were not great. We got espresso martinis… and no... They came out of a cooler looking contraption.. looks like it could’ve been sitting in there for a while.
Anyways, I’d come back for the music :)

Great place! It was an evenly balanced crow and the staff at the bar are amazing! We got there late but they still allowed us to sit down and get a drink before last call. That’s hard to find these days!

I had a pretty good time until after I went outside to leave. I took a picture of the crowd at the front, and then was attacked buy a crowd of girls and one nominal male. One of the girls demanded that I delete the photo. Naturally, I refused. It's perfectly within my rights to take a photo of people in public.
It is not a good photo, and I would not have used it for anything because of its poor quality. But since it shows that I was not taking inappropriate photographs and it shows the image of the young man who grabbed my phone and threw it in the street, I will share it below.
I had a very good time this night up until the weirdness at the end. Your doorman was a perfect gentleman and did his job.
However, I was not causing the disturbance, the girls were. I have never been treated like this before and I hope that it never happens again.

Perfect lil spot for catching small punk and emo music stuff when it's around and the drinks are reasonably priced. Basically the only place in town that still does shows on weeknights. I love to take friends from out of town here to show them the local scene, it's the right mix of punk and casual, never too many people.
This is the kind of place where you have to tip up front on every drink with cash if possible to get good service, if you open a tab they will give you the stink eye all night till you tip, but if you tip good on the first drink they will take care of you all night with a smile. Fair warning, if you do open a tab here it will automatically put a hold on your card for 25$ until you cash out which can be jarring if you only order a 3$ pbr and instantly get a weird notification on your phone.

Great spot! The doorman was delightful, the bartenders were quick and polite, the drinks were delicious. The sound is LOUD, so bring your earplugs- if you forget, they had a few behind the bar. (Thank you so much again!) Great experience!
Google asks about food but they don’t serve food- we ran to Mecca, a block away, for a quick meal before the show, and it hit the spot.
