We celebrated Mother’s Day at Neuse River Brewing and it was amazing. I can’t say enough about the food - the quality, presentation, and those flavors!!! Oh my!!! The atmosphere, food, everything was spectacular. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making my day special!!

Hands down, the best burger in Raleigh! We've been here a lot and have never had a bad experience.

Definitely more of a restaurant feel inside a brewery. Craft beer with casual French influenced food. Its a most try on the Raleigh food circuit.

from out of town, and my brother who is local recommended this spot for our family dinner. It was sooooo good!!! It was a busy Friday night so it took ab 30ish minutes to get seated but it was so worth it, and you can order from the bar as you wait and hang out on the patio!

The staff was so friendly, asked the hostess to take pictures of us as we were leaving and she was amazing, and so so sweet (unfortunately, i can’t remember her name but she was in on 11/08) I think our server’s name was Jay? But they were awesome and very attentive, and the bartenders were all very kind and while we were waiting on our table to be ready a bartender literally came out from behind the bar to take our drink order!

Food wise:
We ordered
duck poutine- a must, so so yummy.
The burger - SO GOOD. The fries !?$?? I would commit crimes to have them again.
Fish and chips - cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth
Drink wise:
Beer- the Equinox and the Mainstream were so good. Mainstream is like a much better version of mango cart! Obsessed.
The unnamed cocktail and the burnt orange Negroni were also very delicious!!

Food is pricey, but good. Beers hit or miss.

I've been eating here for several years and always enjoy it! Neuse does a great job of keeping their classics on the menu (especially their burger and the Croque Monsieur) while adding really nice seasonal options. Their drinks are also tasty, including non-alcoholic drinks for the DDs. A great place to go with a date or a group for good food and a nice bistro-esque ambiance.

Great place. Was visiting the area and went 2 nights in a row. Beer was very good but was lacking a Festbier or Oktoberfest style. The Belgian Tripel was outstanding. Some consistency issues however as the Mountain Lager was a distinct, very good lager on night 1, but a completely different taste and not a lager at all (from 2 different bar tenders) on night 2. I assume the wrong beer was hooked up to the tap? Don't know and didn't have time to ask. The food and service was outstanding. The duck poutine and the hamburger were standouts and are highly recommended.

best burger I've had in a long time. wish there were other options for toppings. I really liked the bun they use. Excellent fries.

Delicious food and well done beer pairings. Service was friendly but inexperienced. Ordered the Pei Mussels and 1/3 of them were closed still. Asked the server to cook them longer or replace them and he gave us a steak knife to open the closed mussels. Other than that the meal and beer was delicious! I would stay away from the more dangerous of foods like their shellfish, based on the experience.

Overall excellent food and good service. Started off with a Panzanella Salad, the dressing really brought everything together. The burger’s excellent, the garlic aioli and beer cheese go well together, creating a rich flavor, complimented by the charbroiled patty and a pop of flavor with the crispy onions and pickles, served on a pillowy soft bun. Very generous with the fries.

Plenty of beer choices; however I wished they had a 0.0 beer to choose from. Parking is a bit of a challenge, especially later in the day, as the street fills up pretty quickly. My wife really enjoyed a nonalcoholic mule with pineapple. Wasn’t sure if I would like a thick patty, now that we’re more into smash burgers but theirs is good and tender.

I had a severe craving for poutine after witching the Mahalo My Dude crew chasing mtb trails and Poutine in Quubec. This place did not disappoint. This would be considered a non-traditional poutine by Canadian standards, but very delicious nonetheless. With the craving subsided, we decided to prolong our stay and indulge in the beer and dinners. Everything was excellent and the staff was on it, knowledgeable, and helpful. Apparently they have special meals on certain nights (Italian night on Wednesdays) but be sure to arrive early else they will sell out. If you can make it through to the desert, try the bread pudding. Yum. We'll definitely be back.
