Neuse River Brewing & Brasserie

The Sunday Brunch was phenomenal. Highly recommend their Duck Hash! Extremely flavorful, and the duck was cooked to perfection.

Decent place to go hang for a beer, but that’s all I would go for. Food is very subpar, mid at best. I’ve tried to go back countless times to give them another chance but always a disappointment. 34$ for steak frites , and the steak was inedible.

Food was good- it was just sooo salty. We ordered the burger and the catfish and fries. Everything was just over salted. Also our waitress was nice but not very attentive, we had to flag her down for water. Atmosphere was great though, really clean and great vibe.

Amazing brewery and brasserie! One of the best in the state of North Carolina… And I have been to I have been to a lot! The beer was exceptional, Saturday Morning was probably my favorite! The food was unbelievable and delicious! Great atmosphere and personable customer service. This place in second to none, great job!

One of the most unique breweries I have EVER been to! The menu features many gluten free and vegan options. I had the duck hash on the brunch menu, and it was spectacular! You need to go here if you are looking for something new with good beer. My guests couldn’t stop raving about it! And the service was amazing.

We walked in with high expectations, but the experience was completely disappointing.

As our food was being served, the runner casually said, “We don’t have the pasta for the kids’ meal.” That kind of information should be communicated well before the food comes out—not when everyone else is already being served. Leaving a child without a meal while the rest of the table eats is unacceptable. What made it worse was the complete lack of accountability. No apology. No effort to correct the issue. Just silence. That’s unprofessional and shows poor judgment on both the manager’s and server’s part.

Then came the bill. We were charged for kids’ drinks and extra sauces that we never ordered. The kids’ menu made no mention of drink prices, yet when I raised the issue, the waiter simply said, “We always charge $3 for a kids’ cup,” with zero explanation or effort to clarify. Again—no apology, no transparency, and no attempt to make it right.

On top of the poor service, the food itself was nothing special. I ordered the burger, and it was by far the worst burger I’ve ever had. The meat was completely unseasoned, tough, and had an overpoweringly gamy taste. It was also served to my cold.

From start to finish, this experience was a letdown. Between the poor communication, unprofessional service, inaccurate billing, lack of accountability, and terrible food, I won’t be returning—and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The pasta special is a must. I was really surprised at how good the salad was. Our server was one of the nicest and best I've encountered. You need to go here!

This place has amazing food and amazing service!! Came in on an extremely busy Sunday and enjoyed watching Robert and Norm take control of the night. They were running around busting butt and taking care of guests. This is a place you want to be at!!!

Had the pork chop and it was as tender at a filet mignon! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic menu items, great atmosphere, and superb service! I got the Roast Chicken and it was home-y, comforting, and full of flavor! The Peanut Butter Pie and Carrot Cake were both dank and delightful! Was blown away! Going back for round 2 tonight 1 week later! Chicken again - it was THAT good!

The food was really great for a brewery! I had the fries, hummus, and shrimp and grits. Love the outdoor seating. Great service as well.

We celebrated Mother’s Day at Neuse River Brewing and it was amazing. I can’t say enough about the food - the quality, presentation, and those flavors!!! Oh my!!! The atmosphere, food, everything was spectacular. We will definitely be back. Thank you for making my day special!!
