Left in tears after how I was treated by female manager. My dad who passed away was friends with the original (father) owner of Tiramasu next door. Both family owned. Won’t go back.

Small pub with great food and atmosphere. We go there frequently and we get take out all the time. It’s our go to for great food. All items are great. My husband loves the turkey wrap and I love their salads especially the spinach salad. Thanks.

Went there on Thursday 12/19 and our food and service was fine. However we witnessed the female manager with long black hair act completely inappropriate towards a hostess/server. The table behind us needed a drink refill and asked the manager. The manager walked up to the young female server and yelled and berated her right in front of everyone in the restaurant. It was extremely unprofessional. She told her that the customer had waited 30 min for a refill and that was unacceptable. I completely understand that something needed to be said to the server for that. Agreed that is unacceptable service but to berate her the way she did in front of everyone was terrible and made us feel very uncomfortable. The server walked away and the manager goes to the table of the issue and proceeds to continue to tell the customers that she’s tired of these servers being on their phones. The gentleman at the table said “well I’m glad you’re not my manager” totally agreed! The professional way to handle this is to bring her aside to talk to the server and let her know that she needs to stay off of her phone during working hours and watch customers drinks to check on refills. So many other ways to handle it but it seriously made me question management here: this lady has been there a really long time. I feel sure this isn’t the first time she’s behaved this way.

Update Oct 2024
They have some new kitchen staff that has not learned their way of making things well.

Good place for a small meal or sandwich. Usually everything is good, but I have had a few weird encounters, but for what it is - small pub - they do a good job

On Tuesday 9/24/24 me and a friend went to the Pub for dinner. Ordered a drink and within 10 minutes the bartender Kevin attacked me because he was in a bad mood It was not OK. I asked for my check to leave. He continued to YELL and SCREAM at me in front of my friend and the ENTIRE restaurant. It was SHOCKING behavior. No customer should be treated is such a horrible manner. I’ve reached out to the owner a couple of times but they haven’t even bothered to respond. A customer of 9 years. Losing me as a customer will have no impact but I want people to know how I was treated.

I have always liked the North Ridge Pub in my past visits. The staff is always friendly and they server just good family food.

My recent visit though was a disappointment because of the food.
To be clear, we had no issues getting seated and a very engaging waiter showed up very promptly. We ordered a Margarita and an Old Fashioned.

My sweetheart ordered the Stuffed Chicken and I ordered what I always get here, the meatloaf. I did request a switch of the MacNcheese with mashed potatoes.

Our drinks were served shortly after placing out meal order. Both drinks were great. Just what we wanted.

Our meals came out in a while and both had very fresh looking vegetables on the plate. My meatloaf was very generous in size and quite a think slice. A small bowl of mashed was also on the plate.
I very excited to taste the meatloaf which before was dressed with a light gravy but this time nothing. The bottom of the meatloaf slice seemed to had been set in a glaze but it was minimal. Eating this meat was like eating a plain impossible burger. Very dry and no taste. I added lots of salt and pepper along with catsup to get any flavor at all. The potatoes suffered the same lack of flavor. Could have used salt and some butter.
Yes costs are high but for $16 bucks for the food and another $16.50 for a drink, it could have had some seasoning.

The chicken was noted to be good though the rice was very bland.

Our waiter took note of my concern but I didn’t want to make waves. He noted there had been a change in chef so perhaps there is a learning curve on things.

I definitely will keep the Pub on my list of options, because of past good experiences here.

I'll try to keep this brief. I ordered the country fried steak which comes with mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was pretty good, the potatoes were a little bland but the green beans were not edible.
I explained to the waitress that the beans were not good and asked if I could replace them with another side. She listed off some other sides and I chose mac n cheese. They brought out a bowl of Mac, tried it and it was also not good. But I ate my steak and potatoes.
We received the check and found the Mac n cheese was added separately at $6.99! I brought this to my waitress's attention, she said she would speak to the manager, came back and said there was an upcharge for the side and apologized. I explained the situation and she said there was nothing else she could do. Paid the bill, still left a tip, but won't return.
