Always a great experience. Broad selection of gourmet dishes and appetizers. Desserts amazing too!
Everything about myself was excellent. We had a salad, the artichoke appetizer, the pasta Bolognese meal and a dessert. Anna Grace provided OUTSTANDING service! Absolutely top notch. Only issue was sitting outside on the enclosed deck was a bit uncomfortable even with heat on.
Delicious dishes across the board. Excellent espresso martinis, excellent service from Cole. Will definitely return again when in Raleigh.
The menu was varied; it was nice to have choices of small or large plates. I chose mushroom soup and a goat cheese salad which were both excellent. My friend chose the seared tuna which was outstanding; I will have that next time. The service was nicely paced; the restaurant was busy but our waiter did not seem rushed and gave us good feedback and time to make our choices. The dining room is lovely and the ambiance was fine; not too noisy to be heard at a normal conversational level.
I have only gone to Northside for lunch which is delightful. It is quiet with creative dishes that are not the norm for area restaurants. combinations of ingredients turn choices into lovely experiences. Service is excellent and friendly without being obtrusive. A good place for a business lunch.
We sat at the bar and enjoyed casual conversation with the bartenders and those sitting next to us. Food was fantastic. 2 dinners and a couple cocktails and we were out the door around $100!
We dined early, so only a few customers there when we first arrived. Several more people came in while we dined and the noise level was still very quiet. The staff was super friendly and helpful with my special diet needs. The food came in generous portions and was very tasty! We were not rushed at all and were able to have a nice dinner and conversation. Upon leaving we agreed that Northside Bistro needed to be on our regular rotation of favorites!
Food was excellent. Service provided by Eva was good; she may need more training providing more clarification on the menu. The menu showed one very expensive scotch but she did not mention any other available choice. I order the scotch and to my surprise it cost $40.00 for a single shot. When I made the reservation, part of the information asked was regarding a special occasion so I specified that we were celebrating an anniversary. There was no acknowledgement until I said to the server that it was our anniversary. Management needs to do a better job on details.
The food was amazing. The staff was wonderful. We had a hiccup with our order, but they went above and beyond to make it right. The cocktails were very good, some of the best we have ever had. There were 4 of us and we all had a wonderful time.

I love this restaurant. Me and my girlfriend sat at the bar and had great service and wonderful cocktails. I don't know the guy's name who works behind the bar, but he's very sweet and always takes good care of us. Chris, our server, was amazing! I had him as a server last week and requested him for last night. He is a great server and I will request him from now on. He's so friendly and nice.

Had lunch here recently. Great French onion soup. Salads are interesting combos of fresh ingredients.

This is our absolute favorite restaurant in the Raleigh area. Never had anything less than a perfect meal and the service is unmatched.
We decided to dine at Northside at the last minute on a beautiful Saturday evening. I was able to make a reservation via Open Table for 8pm. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation and were seated right away. Morgan was our amazing server. I was really glad I made a reservation as there was limited seating. Northside is a nice sized restaurant with a decent amount of seating. Booths, high top tables & bar seating. There's a good vibe inside. We started with cocktails and the soft warm rolls w/ whipped butter that's brought out to each table. For our starter we had the Octopus Bravas. The potatoes were rather seasoned & spicy, and the Octopus could have had a little more flavor. I ordered the Seared Scallops, it's listed differently online where it comes with pasta. On their dining menu, the scallops are baked in a puff pastry in a mushroom sauce with breadcrumbs, served with yellow rice and garlicky spinach. My daughter ordered the Duck Confit with fingerling potatoes, not mashed. We gave our entrees 10/10 for presentation and 7/10 for taste. My daughter added garlic salt to her dish to bring out the taste. I didn't need to add anything to my dish as it was already pretty salty. The scallops were perfect. The dessert menu looks amazing, but we didn't have enough room to even try it this time. I'd definitely go back again and try other menu items.
Consistently awesome every time.

Northside Bistro is a great neighborhood spot. They are consistently busy and the food and service are consistently on point.
