Me and my wife had reservations for the day after Valentine’s Day. We were seated immediately and was greeted by Eric as our waiter. Eric was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the menu and any questions we had. Food and drinks were absolutely amazing and were quickly served. This is hands down the best sushi spot in Raleigh and we will be returning, thank you Eric for your hospitality and making this a successful date night.

My girlfriend and I ate here on Feb. 13th and it was the best dining experience we’ve had in NC. The food tasted amazing and our server Gerry did an exceptional job going over anything we had questions about. We did end up having a bone in one of our appetizers when there shouldn’t have, and when we brought it up the manager came and personally apologized, took the item off our bill, AND offered us a free dessert to make up for it. Unfortunately they don’t validate parking and the menu is a bit pricey, but the service quality far exceeds any con. Great place with great people!

This O-Ku location was a solid sushi dinner with a wider menu than I expected. I didn't love how they prepared hand rolls (things fall apart way too easily) but they did have some killer rolls. Would eat here again if I was in the area.

I was completely blown away by this restaurant!!!! The food was incredible!!! If you are gluten-free you must stop by and visit OKU in Raleigh! The atmosphere is wonderful, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door! The music, lights (just right) not to dim is the perfect backdrop for dining, also the branched on the columns have to be a nod to the City of Oaks, nice touch. My waiter was BOMB! Very knowledgeable ensured what I was eating was not only delicious but gluten free, they had gluten free soy sauce that hit you in the mouth! Fresh and potent. So many options for appetizers, small plates, and sushi! The duck breast was incredibly cooked with a sweet raspberry sauce. Everything I had here was excellent the GM is doing the thing! Bathrooms were super clean, modern, and well assembled, wasn’t expecting that!

We had dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff was so friendly and our server, Eric, was so much fun! He made sure we had a lovely experience and took the time to answer any and all questions we had. Eric gave us some great recommendations for food, too. There was also such a lovely personal touch to the celebration; the staff signed a birthday card for my husband and he was so happy to have strangers do something small and meaningful for him. It was a fantastic experience and we are sure to come back for future date nights and celebrations.

O-ku is the best restaurant in Raleigh. The food is amazing and the service and attention to detail is outstanding. I celebrated my wife's birthday and the manager, waitress and staff went above and beyond. We had a perfect table with flowers and a custom menu with my wife's name on it and a birthday card signed by the staff. Everyone was so nice and gave great recommendations for food as my wife wanted to try something new and it did not disappoint. We have been here for our wedding anniversary valentines day and now my wife's birthday and the experience keeps getting better!!

we celebrated my partners birthday here having never even heard of this place before. it was like an experience out of a movie. they catered to us & made us feel so welcome & special, even though they were very busy. it's pricey, but the food & service is unmatched. & everyone we encountered was extremely pleasant. we hope to come back next year 🧡

My partner and I went to Oku to celebrate my new counseling license, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly attentive and welcoming. Kiren, our main waitress, explained every item we asked about in such impressive detail and offered wonderful recommendations that we ended up loving.
We tried multiple menu items, and every single one was a 10/10. The food was outstanding, and you can tell so much care goes into both the menu and the overall experience. To top it all off, the team surprised me at the end of the night to celebrate my milestone and even gave me a card congratulating me on my career journey, which meant so much to me.
Oku is officially in my top three restaurants in Raleigh. We will absolutely be back!
