The food would have been fine for half the price, but for $15 I expected better. The fried pork was mostly fried gristle, food was super salty, and it took 45 minutes to come out with no heads up that it would a long wait. Not impressed.

My friend and I ordered the steak plate for $17 each - definitely not worth the expensive price for the amount of food. The steak was also very thin (different from other reviewers' photos of steak) and they ran out of chimichurri when I asked them why ours didn't come with it. The cheese arepa had no flavor and the cheese inside was salty and very weird tasting. They also charge $3.50 for a can of sprite which is insanely expensive. Giving 2 stars because at least the sausage was juicy, meat pretty tender, and garlic sauce was decent. (Garlic sauce on the front ledge was out and we had to ask for a refill - and it wasn't even busy.) Won't be back.

Didn’t have the best experience at this food truck in Raleigh. I ordered cheese arepas but got chicken instead after waiting more than 10 minutes. Mistakes happen, and they replaced the food no problem, but then we had to wait another 10-15 minutes for the correct order. Then when I got the replacement, they had thrown cold shredded cheese in a cold arepa… I’d never had arepas before, but after looking it up, I’m 100% sure that is not what it’s supposed to be. Definitely was not worth the money we spent.

Really greasy and completely still frozen inside. I feel sick but I was SO hungry, I had no choice. It was also 9.50 for one empanada that was hard and frozen inside

Possibly the best empanadas I've ever had. I had the Southern and La Tumbada. Both were amazing but the La Tumbada was super good, with the pico de gallo and avocado. The shell is fried to perfection and adds a complement to the flavors within. I'll definitely look for this food truck again!

My fiancé has been wanting to try this food truck for the longest and we finally found them in Cary. We were 10000% so glad we did because the food is SO good. Everything we got was well worth the wait & we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu! (We paid $42 for all the items pictured)

Will not order from again! Pre-ordered my meal for myself and 2 kids hours in advance of arrival time. Just before it was set to be ready I was told my order couldn't be fully completed because he had to fill anither order placed AFTER I had put mine in. It's a shame because I really enjoyed their food last time even though they forgot the garlic sauce. Very disappointing!

I have had all sorts of food trucks from all sorts of nationalities and regional american food... none of them (at least so far) come close to how good the food from Los Panas is. Love

Do you think you are comedians?

On Friday the 8th, at the Hispanic festival in Garner NC they sold us hot drinks, and when we realized it we came back to exchange them for cold ones. We ask the kids if they can change them or if they have glasses with ice. A boy tells his partner, "IF WE HAVE ICE, GIVE IT IN YOUR HAND, HAHAHA!!" and start laughing at each other. They didn't refund our money, apologize for the lack of respect or change the drink. Our orders were wrong, but I would never return food. We bought food for those who were working in the ambulance a few meters from you too. Remember that there are thousands of arepa food trucks in NC, and I will never give you 1 dollar. They should be ashamed. And much more at a Latin festival serving among us!

Ordered a beef and cheese empanada at Phillips farm where they had a food truck. I received a shredded chicken empanada with no cheese. I brought it back to them, they checked and confirmed my order. Moments later they hand me a paper bag so other customers couldn't see what they'd done. I look in the bag, they tore the whole empanada open and put cold cheese on it. I brought it back again and said, this is chicken, they said no it is beef. I can see the color of the meat and it clearly is not shredded beef. I told them to dispose of it. I spent 9 dollars for a bite of something I didn't order.
